We, The Prometheans, would like to extend our warmest greetings to all our Muslim brothers and sisters who will be celebrating 𝐄𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐥-𝐅𝐢𝐭𝐫. May this celebration fill your hearts with joy, your homes with peace, and your lives with endless blessings.

اللهم تقبل منا صيامنا وقيامنا، واغفر لنا ذنوبنا، واجعل عيدنا مباركًا.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐒 | 𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐀𝐑 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝟓.𝟎

Alhamdulillah for another service accomplished. Once again, our batch experienced the joy and fulfillment of successfully conducting our annual Iftar Drive.

On 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the Prometheans delivered their 5.0 Iftar Drive with unity, dedication, and sincere commitment to serve. This yearly initiative continues to be a tradition we proudly uphold.

Preparation began at 8:00 AM to ensure ample time for cooking and organizing the meals, which was finished by 3:00 PM, followed by the packing of all the food. At around 4:30 PM, we were ready for delivery, making sure the meals would reach our beneficiaries in time for them to break their fast.

Our delivery started at Barangay Cabasaran, serving two mosques, 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐣𝐢𝐝 and another unnamed mosque then, proceeded to 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐣𝐢𝐝 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐚 located in Barangay Raya Bacayawan. Next, we moved to Barangay Matling, where we served two more mosques, and concluded at 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐣𝐢𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐫 𝐈𝐛𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐬’𝐨𝐝 in Barangay Madaya, Lanao del Sur. We have 𝟔 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬 in total that reaches our services.

We also extended our service to 𝐃𝐚𝐫 𝐈𝐛𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐬’𝐨𝐝, a Torel located at Madaya, Malabang Lanao Del Sur and finally, as we are on our way home, we extend to provide our Iftar Drive to our military brothers who are on their duty at the Airport Checkpoint in Malabang, Lanao Del Sur

This initiative stands as a testament that unity is possible when serving 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 (𝐒.𝐖.𝐀). By choosing to serve the Muslim community of Malabang, Lanao del Sur, in Allah's will, we'll not only earn the Hasanah in this world but, most importantly, in the hereafter.

On this blessed day, the 11th of March 2026, we are honored to provide an update on the progress of donation for our 5.0 Iftar Drive. Through the kindness and generosity of our supporters, we have successfully reached a total of ₱𝟙,𝟝𝟛𝟜.𝟘𝟘 in contributions. This is a meaningful milestone, not only for our initiative but, more importantly, for our brothers and sisters observing the fast, as your support helps provide them with a nourishing iftar during this sacred time.

We sincerely recognize that every donation, whether large or small, holds great significance. Each contribution becomes a source of benefit and reward, returning to the donor in the form of hasanah.

Allah said in the Holy Qur'an: Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and donate from what He has entrusted you with. So, those of you who believe and donate will have a mighty reward."

As of March 06, 2026, our hearts are filled with gratitude as we have already raised ₱886.00 through the accounts provided for our 5.0 Iftar Drive. Our doors and hearts remain open for donations. Any amount, no matter how big or small it is, also each peso shared brings us one step closer to reaching more people and ensuring that more brothers can experience the warmth of a shared meal during this blessed time.

As Allah (S.W.T) said: “The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that grows seven ears; in every ear there are a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies the reward for whom He wills.” [𝘘𝘶𝘳'𝘢𝘯 2:261]

𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗜𝗳𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝟰.𝟬

On March 29, 2025, 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 successfully executed its 4.0 𝘐𝘧𝘵𝘢𝘳 𝘋𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦 across several mosques in Malabang, Lanao del Sur, bringing our batch a shared act of service and compassion.

The day began in the morning with the preparation of Iftar meals, where the batch worked hand in hand to cook, pack, and organize the food. The preparation continued throughout the day and was completed at around 4:00 PM. By 5:00 PM, the Batch Prometheans were ready to deploy and deliver the meals to different mosques in time for the breaking of the fast.

The distribution of Iftar meals covered multiple locations, starting with 2 mosques in Barangay Cabasaran, followed by 1 mosque in Barangay Matling and 1 mosque in Barangay Mananayo. After that, we proceeded to a mosque located at IDP Village. The final route extended to 2 more mosques in Barangay Madaya. The total number of mosques where the Batch Prometheans provided Iftar meals was 7.

Even though the Batch Prometheans had many mosques to provide Iftar meals for, we made sure that the delivery of the meals was on time to ensure that our Muslim brothers would be able to break their fast on time. Through our services, several communities were reached, allowing the initiative to serve and connect with Muslims across different barangays in the municipality of Malabang, Lanao del Sur.

This Iftar Drive marked a meaningful milestone, highlighting unity, generosity, and community spirit. Through these activities, the Batch Prometheans reaffirmed its commitment to service by extending support and goodwill to various mosques and neighborhoods throughout the municipality.

Alhamdulillah, this is it. We, the MSU-Prometheans 2022 are on our day of 4.0 Iftar drive service. We are also pleased to inform those who have shared and gave their donations, that we have reached ₱ 12,000.00.

NOTE: We are no longer accepting monetary donations.
