The Culinary students of ZPPSU Ana M. Baquial Campus successfully completed their Cake-Making Activity under the supervision of their adviser, Ms. Laarni Buenaventura.

The activity focused on developing essential baking skills, including cake preparation, decorating techniques, and presentation. Ms. Buenaventura provided guidance throughout the session, ensuring that students applied proper methods and demonstrated creativity in their output.

The event highlighted the students’ growing competence and dedication to mastering foundational culinary skills.

The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship students of ZPPSU Ana M. Baquial Campus proudly concluded their Business Proposal Presentation, showcasing innovative venture ideas developed through months of research, analysis, and entrepreneurial planning.

The activity was held under the guidance and leadership of the Dean of EPDU, Dr. Kier Dela Calzada, whose support ensured that students received the mentorship and academic environment needed to elevate their business concepts to professional standards.

A highlight of the event was the participation of industry expert Mr. Nicasio S. Tabor, who shared valuable insights drawn from his extensive experience in the field. His expertise enhanced the learning experience and helped students refine their proposals with real-world perspectives.

The panel of evaluators, composed of Ms. Laarni Buenaventura, Michael Emoricha, Jefrael Paragas, and Ronel Soriano, provided thorough assessments and constructive feedback. Their professional inputs guided the students in strengthening their business plans and preparing them for the competitive landscape of entrepreneurship.

The successful conduct of the Business Proposal Presentation marks another milestone for the BS Entrepreneurship program as it continues to develop competent, creative, and market-ready young entrepreneurs.

Led by Program Chair, Mr. Michael Rey Emoricha and faculty Mr. Hamperken Suliva, with helpful insights from panelists Engr. Ronel Soriano and Engr. Hazel Magallanes, a strong and meaningful presentation of innovation and engineering happened earlier at ZPPSU–AMBC.
Electronics students presented and defended their final project outputs, including:
1. Obstacle-Avoiding Robot
2. Robotic Arm
3. Motion Detection Alarm System
4. Waste-to-Power Charging Trash Bin
5. Automated Voice-Control Switch
6. Fingerprint/NFC Attendance System
7. Smart Door Lock – NFC Activated
8. Rainfall Detection & Early Warning System
9. Fan Controller System (Temp/Humidity)
10. Automatic Watering System

Plus course-based projects include:
-AC–DC Power Supply (Electronic Devices)

-Dried Fish Processing Plant Design (Instrumentation & Control) reflecting the Bindtech Electronic’s innovation and practical learning as pivotal skills now and in future.

BS ENTREPRENEURSHIP STUDENTS OFFICIALLY DEPLOYED TO PARTNER INDUSTRIES

In pursuit of experiential learning and real-world business exposure, the pioneering batch of Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship students of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University – Ana M. Baquial Campus have officially begun their On-the-Job Training (OJT) in various partner industries this November 2025.

The deployment activity was spearheaded by Mr. Jefrael Paragas, the OJT Coordinator of the BS Entrepreneurship Program, who emphasized the importance of hands-on experience in shaping the future entrepreneurs of the region. “This deployment marks a new chapter for our trainees. It’s not just about training—it’s about transforming their classroom learnings into entrepreneurial action,” said Mr. Paragas during the send-off.

Through this partnership, the students will gain firsthand exposure to business operations, marketing strategies, product development, and customer engagement, key pillars of entrepreneurial success. The collaborating industries expressed their excitement to mentor the students and contribute to their professional growth.This initiative forms part of the university’s commitment to academic excellence, industry collaboration, and community engagement, ensuring that every Entrepreneurship trainee becomes a catalyst for innovation and sustainable development.
