𝓛𝓞𝓞𝓚 | 𝓒𝓒𝓙𝓔 𝓒𝓞𝓝𝓓𝓤𝓒𝓣𝓢 𝓢𝓔𝓜𝓘𝓝𝓐𝓡 𝓞𝓝 𝓟𝓔𝓡𝓢𝓞𝓝𝓐𝓛 𝓘𝓓𝓔𝓝𝓣𝓘𝓕𝓘𝓒𝓐𝓣𝓘𝓞𝓝
The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) successfully conducted a seminar on Personal Identification with the theme" 𝓕𝓡𝓞𝓜 𝓟𝓡𝓘𝓝𝓣 𝓣𝓞 𝓟𝓡𝓞𝓞𝓕: 𝓐𝓭𝓿𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓼 𝓲𝓷 𝓕𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓼𝓲𝓬 𝓔𝔁𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷" today, October 16, 2026, at the Function Hall, UPHSP Pangasinan.
The seminar aimed to enhance the practical knowledge and forensic skills of Criminology students from 1st year to 4th year, providing them with exposure to the importance of personal identification in forensic examination.
The program formally started with the Doxology and National Anthem via AVP, followed by the Welcome Remarks of Dr. John Vencent P. Cazar, RCrim, CCS dean.
Meanwhile, Mr. Lover Madrilejos, RCrim., delivered an Inspirational Message where he shared his life story when he was still studying. He recalled how poverty was a constant challenge in his journey and how he had to endure many hardships just to finish his education which served as an inspiration to the students.
"You are all lucky that you get to go to school, so you must not waste the opportunity to learn," he said, reminding the students not to make excuses in life and to value their education.
Following that, Mrs. Marites B. Sagurit, RCrim., introduced the Guest Speaker, Ms. Sweden M. Ga, NBI Fingerprint Examiner II, who served as the lecturer for the seminar and shared her expertise on how personal identification helps in crime detection. She emphasized that in forensic work, even the smallest detail can be the key to uncovering the truth.
The CCJE expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Ga and to all who contributed to the success of the seminar. The program was formally concluded with the Closing Remarks of Mr. Emil S. Peralta Jr., MSCrim, RCrim, CCS, and was hosted by Ms. Lara Joy Corneja as Master of Ceremony.
