CLARIFICATION ON SOCIAL SCIENCE HYFLEX SCHEDULE and FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES beginning August 8, 2022

Please refer to the room utilization matrix below for your face-to-face classes (Room A3203, 2nd Floor of the CAS Building) following the sequential face-to-face (F2F) and flexible learning (FLS) model where a 3.0 unit course is composed of 1.5 hours of F2F (Monday OR Tuesday for 1st and 2nd-year students and Thursday OR Friday for 3rd and 4th-year students) and 1.5 hours of FLS. Only subjects below are for F2F while the other subjects are conducted via FLS. Please note, however, that your course instructors WILL HAVE FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS ON YOUR CLASS SCHEDULE so kindly also patiently wait for these instructions.

Note also that other programs in the university will have their own mechanism for implementing Hyflex.

In line with the health and safety of everyone on the campus, you are encouraged to go to the campus only during your scheduled f2f classes. Kindly ensure also that you always wear your facemasks appropriately, bring alcohol and your COVID-19 vaccination card, and avoid loitering in campus.

Currently enrolled students are encouraged to join the Social Science Circle group page to have updates from the student organization.

The general orientation for the program is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday. We will update you regarding this activity soon.

Re: BukSU-CAT applicants who preferred to study in any satellite campus of BukSU

We would like to remind you of the following:

1. As instructed during the application period: (a.) You must fill out the application fields ACCURATELY. (b.) You need to DOUBLE CHECK the information you have provided in your application. (c.) Your PARENTS/GUARDIANS must be consulted before choosing your Preferred Campus and Testing Venue.

2. BukSU Admission and Testing Unit (ATU) cannot make changes on the information you have provided; such data were subsequently used in your BukSU-CAT Report of Rating.

3. Those who expressed to enroll in the satellite campuses are only qualified for admissions in their preferred satellite campus.

4. The BukSU Admissions System can only cater enrollment for applicants whose campus preference is MAIN CAMPUS. For students with satellite campus preferences, release of ROR (Report of Rating) and enrollment procedures are done remotely (absence of online enrollment) in your preferred satellite campus.

5. You may contact your preferred satellite campus for clarification and enrollment concerns or the Admission and Testing Unit thru 0968-568-1435.
