CPSC welcomes these progressive gains as a positive indication of the country’s continuing efforts to strengthen the quality of education and improve Filipino learners’ competencies in Reading, Mathematics, and Science.

𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

Pursuant to Memorandum No. 384-2026, the Office of the College President informs the College community and the general public that the CPSC Main Campus Main Gate will be temporarily closed effective September 8, 2026, until further notice to facilitate the commencement of the College’s drainage project, which includes the rehabilitation of the main gate and guard house.

During the temporary closure, all vehicular traffic entering and exiting the Main Campus shall use the Center/Exit Gate located in front of the College Main Building. Pedestrian access through the rear gate shall continue pursuant to Memorandum No. 314-2026.

All concerned are advised to observe the temporary traffic and access arrangements and follow the directions of college security personnel.

The Camiguin Polytechnic State College community deeply mourns the sudden passing of our beloved Institute of Engineering and Computer Studies faculty member, Engr. Jacinto E. Tagupa.

Engr. Tagupa will be remembered for his hard work, passion for teaching, love for music, and unmistakable wit that brought joy to those around him. His dedication and vibrant presence have left a lasting mark on his students, colleagues, and the entire College community.

We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family, loved ones, friends, and students during this difficult time.

August 18, 2026 - Tupsan, Mambajao, Camgiuin

Camiguin Polytechnic State College (CPSC), through its Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit, joined the Local Government Unit of Mambajao in the implementation of Project EVERGREEN, an environmental initiative that aims to plant 1,000 trees every month across the municipality.

Led by College President Dr. Jenelyn G. Sabellina, the CPSC delegation participated in the tree-planting activity held on August 8, 2026, at Tupsan, Mambajao, Camiguin, reaffirming the College’s commitment to climate action and community engagement.

The activity also reflects the continuing partnership between CPSC and LGU Mambajao in advancing initiatives that promote environmental responsibility and \sustainable Camiguin.

This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 13 – Climate Action, through collective efforts toward environmental protection and climate resilience, and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening collaboration between CPSC and the Local Government Unit of Mambajao in advancing sustainable community initiatives.
