CPSC - Institute of Technology 1995 VISION
It aims to develop and promote excellent researches and its activities in the College through referred research outputs and advanced technologies.

It envisions to be a center of excellence in research along Agroforestry and Ecological Sciences for sustainable development. MISSION
To harness the research capacity of the faculty and students to conduct "pure" and "applied" researches in all branches of knowledge for the intellectual and professional growth of faculty and staff, for the advancement in the instruction of students, and for empowe

ring the citizens to develop appropriate technologies which could be radiated to other members of the community. GOAL
1. RESEARCH THRUSTS
The main research thrusts are on researches addressing problems in job creation and economic growth, social development and direct anti-poverty measures, physical planning, infrastructures and logistics support, good governance and peace and order, upland degradation and developing technologies for sustainable and profitable production through optimizing the use of natural resources.
2. RESEARCH AREAS
Agroforestry, economic growth, anti-poverty, good governance, educational research, agronomy crops, horticultural crops, livestock and poultry, genetic improvement, waste management, postharvest technology, farming systems, crop protection, soil conservation and management, marketing aspects, forest products, farm machineries and tools, and others.
3. RESEARCH FACILITIES
Construction of research administrative building, analytical service laboratory, tissue laboratory, gene bank, research shed and greenhouses, storage buildings and research staff houses, improvement of roads, drainage and irrigation of the Experiment Station and acquisition of equipment and farm machineries.
4. MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT
Degree and non-degree trainings of researchers, hiring of full time researchers to work on specific research discipline, strengthening research organization for effective research management and acquisition of equipment and machineries.
5. LINKAGES
To make linkages with research foundations both local, national, and international; research agencies for more unified approaches of solving problems in order to generate more research funds; update and share of skills and scientific knowledge.
6. RESEARCH PUBLICATION
Make research results and activities available for references and information dissemination. OBJECTIVES
1. To conduct socio-economic and impact studies of promising technologies and modify them if needed for adaptability.
2. To develop strategies and improved knowledge in the management of transfer of technology on areas involving sustenance, rehabilitation, conservation and utilization of natural resources.
3. To strengthen linkages along leading technologies for import substitution and export generation.
4. To increase the participation of men and women in the pursuit of sustainable development through trainings and seminars.
5. To develop and document diverse/indigenous knowledge and technology on human and other natural resources.
6. To preserve ecological diversity and promote the unique utilization of the bounty of Camiguin treasures.
7. To build and strengthen human efficiency, value-laden consciousness, research/output responsibilities, camaraderie and natural character, and development.

We regret to inform the Institute of Technology and CPSC community of the sudden passing of our dear colleague and Instructor, Sir Jesson Ragrag. He has been a very active and hardworking Instructor in the Bachelor of Technology major in Automotive Technology. His passion for teaching, dedication to his students, and unwavering commitment to the field will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.

Sir Ragrag was more than an educator — he was a mentor, a guide, and a source of strength to those around him. His impact went far beyond the four walls of the classroom, shaping lives and inspiring excellence in everyone he encountered. Thank you, Sir Ragrag, for the wisdom you shared and the kindness you showed. You will be missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace. 🕊️📚
