De La Salle Lipa shines once again on the global stage, winning the 2026 International Green Gown Award for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Sustainability! πŸŽ‰

Because true sustainability leaves no one behind, this category honors institutions reaching diverse communities hit hardest by the triple planetary crises.

DLSL was recognized for "Embracing our Shared Humanity: A Lasallian Framework for Livelihood Equity and Culture-Based Education for Sustainable Futures," its inclusive, transformative work with its adopted indigenous community in Mindoro.

πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ A historic first: DLSL is now the first school in the Philippines to win 2 International Green Gown Awards, awarded by the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC).

From Lipa to the world β€” this is Lasallian excellence in action! 🌱✨

A congress can give you ideas.
A community gives those ideas somewhere to stand.
That was Day 3.
The delegates left the discussions behind and spent the day in their assigned communities, where the broad language of service became much more specific.
At Hope in Me Club, community development and mental health brought attention to something easy to overlook: a healthy community is not only built through programs and projects, but through the conditions that allow people to feel supported, connected, and well.
At Dar Amanah, access to education became the focus. Not education as a line on a policy document, but education as an opportunityβ€”one that can widen the choices available to a young person.
What the delegates saw was different in each community, but both raised the same point:
The issues we talk about have lives attached to them.
The afternoon shifted the lens again through HABI: Where the Journey Intersects, Vocations Weave, bringing together a Lasallian Partner, Volunteer, Brother, and Artist. Four paths, none identical, all shaped by a different understanding of what it means to give one’s time, work, and life to something beyond oneself.
Then came the quieter part of the day: processing, journal writing, and looking back at what the delegates had actually encountered.
