On May 7, 2026, the 3rd Year BS Industrial Engineering students enrolled in Operations Management under Engr. Noe Enriquez conducted an Industry and Career Talk at the CT Building, Adamson University. The seminar featured Engr. Coleen Valle, a Magna Cum Laude B.S. Industrial Engineering graduate and College of Engineering Valedictorian of Adamson University, Class of 2025, who currently works as a Business Application Consultant for SAP S/4HANA Cloud ERP โ Supply Chain Track at APPTechnology Experts, Inc.
During the seminar, Engr. Valle shared her professional experiences and discussed the real-world applications of SAP systems in Supply Chain Management, particularly in demand forecasting, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), inventory management, procurement, logistics, and distribution. She also explained how different departments work together through integrated systems to maintain operational efficiency and improve workflow processes.
Beyond technical knowledge, Engr. Valle inspired students by sharing practical career advice and emphasizing the importance of teamwork, adaptability, communication, and continuous learning in the Industrial Engineering profession. She advised students not to settle for career opportunities that they are uncertain about and reminded them that the Industrial Engineering field offers diverse career paths where they can truly grow and excel. The seminar provided students with valuable insights into Operations Management and encouraged them to become future Industrial Engineers capable of improving systems, optimizing operations, and driving efficiency in the industries they will serve.
