7 May 2026 — The Benildean Community celebrated Mother’s Day with the theme "Celebrating Mothers: Honoring Love in All its Forms” at The Loop, 12/F, Design + Arts Campus.

Benildean mothers from our Faculty and Associate groups participated in the event, where they were treated to a simple salo-salo lunch and short program.

The event was organized through the collaboration of the following Benilde Offices: People and Organization Development Office (PODO), Center for Restorative Discipline (CRD), and Benilde Well-Being Center (BWC).

"The Bagong Pilipinas program is giving overseas Filipino workers a chance to turn years of hard work into a college degree. Through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), returning workers can now earn a bachelor’s degree by having their professional experience formally recognized.

"On April 7, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) launched a new online enlistment system to make the process easier. This system allows OFWs to register, submit requirements, and undergo assessments without leaving their jobs abroad. The program was introduced during the ETEEAP sa Bagong Pilipinas Forum held at Benilde, showing how national policy and institutional innovation can work together."

"Benilde and the Project Management Institute Philippines Chapter signed a Memorandum of Understanding on March 27, 2026 to introduce project management training and certification pathways for students and faculty.

"The agreement allows Benilde’s School of Management and Information Technology to integrate the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) credential into its micro certification offerings. Students will have the chance to graduate with a globally recognized credential while gaining access to PMI research, webinars, and professional communities."

"Benilde signed a partnership with Xsolla, a global video game commerce platform that helps developers publish, distribute, and earn revenue from their games around the world. The agreement connects the College’s Game Design and Development program with industry tools that allow developers to release and monetize games in international markets.

"The collaboration opens a new pathway for students and alumni who want to move their projects beyond the classroom and into real distribution channels. "Benilde School of Hospitality, Restaurant and Institution Management (SHRIM) has opened new doors for its students and alumni through a partnership with Placement International. The agreement gives Benildeans access to internships and training programs at luxury properties in Europe, Thailand, and the United States.

"Students will gain hands‑on experience at destinations such as The Ritz‑Carlton Bacara in California, 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay in Hawaii, and the Riviera Dining Group in Miami. Placement International also provides support services including CV preparation, interview coaching, visa processing, housing assistance, and emergency support."
