On May 15, 2026, the newly elected Executive Board of the Faculty of Philosophy Students' Forum was sworn in by Rev. Fr. Christopher P. Garinganao, OP, PhD, during the Eucharistic Celebration celebrated by Rev. Rudolph Seno, OP, PhD.

Rev. Fr. Seno, OP, reminded the new Executive Board that despite the busyness and stress that will accompany them as they organize as a council, it will be for them an avenue to excel and be great lovers of wisdom.

In his thanksgiving speech, Sem. Kyle Andrei Villanoy, the president of FPSF for AY 2026-2027, pointed out the importance of service to the constituents as the primary aim of the council. The AY 2026-2027 slate of Executive Board members are active Executive Board, Central Board, and Standing Committee Chairpersons and members of the council for AY 2025-2026. One of which is Sem. John Lester Joren, the Editor-in-Chief of the Thomasian Philosopher, the Official Journal of the Faculty of Philosophy for AY 2025-2026.

📣BACHELOR'S THESIS DEFENSE📣

For the past months, our seniors grappled with the rigors of academic research. Along with loud prayers to the Holy Spirit, perhaps a few more cups of coffee than strictly necessary, they have sought to integrate intellectual formation with their spiritual journey. This defense marks a significant milestone in their path towards the arch and their future ministry.

We invite everyone to witness this academic exercise as our seniors articulate their research and engage with the panel of examiners.

On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the St. Catherine of Alexandria Philosophical Conference resumed its 2nd day of inquiry on philosophical thoughts centered on the theme “The Doctor Humanities & the Postmodern Man: Revisiting the condition of the Human Person in the Postmodern Age in the Light of Thomistic Philosophy”.

The event began at the Tanghalang Teresita, Benavides Building, with an opening prayer led by Br. Kent V. Cabrera, OC, and was followed by the opening remarks of Sem. Hartnell D.
