On this Feast Day of Saint Pope John Paul II, the University is pleased to share about the collaboration between the Faculty of Philosophy and the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in Poland. The two institutions are presenting the December 10-11, 2026 International Interdisciplinary Conference that will look at the thought of Doctor of the Church and Saint John Henry Newman and Saint Pope John Paul II.

Thomasian scholars will join the conference and read papers on some of the conference's themes: Philosophy and the Idea of Assent, Conscience as a Guiding Principle, Education and the Mission of the University, and Pastoral Leadership in the Church.

We congratulate Rev. Ngo Van Huy, CRM, a student of the UST Faculty of Theology (Licentiate in Moral Theology), on his ordination to the Sacred Order of Deacons.

May the Lord sustain him with abundant grace as he undertakes the ministry of the Word, the Altar, and Charity in faithful service to Christ and His Church.
