𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | Accountancy students from Arellano University (AU) marked a historic milestone at the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants Western Metro Manila Chapter (PICPA WMMC) Cup 2026 held at Far Eastern University - Manila, on October 19.

John Lloyd G. Gamba, a third-year BS in Accountancy student, who is also the current Editor-in-Chief of The Standard Manila, placed among the Top 10 finalists out of 92 participants across Western Metro Manila, recording the university's first-ever placement in the top tier of the competition.

The academic contest was organized by PICPA WMMC in collaboration with the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants - National Capital Region (NFJPIA-NCR) to evaluate the academic proficiency of accountancy students in the region.

Alongside Gamba, four other delegates represented Arellano University in the event, namely: Nico Angelo Dy, Trisha Mae Lozano, Jermaine C. Santos, and Jean Paula F. Sequiño.

The page has turned, the compass has appeared, and a new journey begins. With immense pride, we present the 𝟒𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 of the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants for the Federation Year 2026–2027, the 𝐀𝐮𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐚 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧!

As the 𝐀𝐔-𝐉𝐏𝐈𝐀 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, she carries the responsibility of representing her fellow 4th-year AU-JPIANS and making sure their voices, concerns, and experiences are heard.

Her role goes beyond being a representative. Through her 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻, she helps strengthen the connection between the graduating batch and AU-JPIA. Every effort she gives, whether through communication, coordination, or simply being present for her fellow students, reflects her genuine commitment to serving them.✨
