Gregorio Bañaga Jr. CM President
Adamson University

Dear Fr. Gregg:

Greetings of faith and hope!

I am writing to you on behalf of all the student leader officers in Adamson University Student Government batch 2011 - 2012. You may still recall the time when our batch collaborated with ICES during Typhoon Sendong, which brought disaster to Cagayan de Oro.

With this, may you please pardon and understand us if we may raise ambitious suggestion. We come up with this idea to expedite our help to the victims of the recent Super Typhoon Yolanda. We see this idea for the ICES to have fast and enough money on hand to buy goods for the relief operation of our beloved community.

May we suggest Father, if feasible that your office may direct or send an instruction to the Human Resources Department and run a memorandum in every department of the university and knock to the humble heart of every employee and professor and ask to donate voluntarily of their working hour to the victims.

This means that if the employee or professor donated five working hours of his/her salary, the working hour rate of the donor should be computed and multiply to desired number of hours to donate in which in this case is five hours and this will be deducted by the HR Department on his / her salary. With this we can promote the real essence of ORAS NG PAGTULONG (as we call and do it in our own way).
I know the heart of every Adamsonian to the needy; this is where we are known for, the spirit of love, humility and care runs in our veins, as this is the DNA of every TRUE BLOODED ADAMSONIAN as this is what the University has taught me especially when I am leading the whole studentry in our time.

Please consider our humble and simple ambitious suggestion as we think that our dear employees and professors will be the most grateful citizen of our nation to lend their helping hand.

Yours in the Spirit of Saint Vincent de Paul,

Edward B. Lacap and the rest of AUSG - RSO officers batch 2011-2012

My fellow graduating adamsonians (Batch 2012), please add yourselves to this page. Let us continue to live the legacy that adamson has entailed for the past years: producing quality people who do quality outputs. Spread the news and please keep in touch with us, your Alumni batch officers, because we would be doing our best to broaden our network and contact people from various industries to inform us if there are job openings on their companies for you to apply. And please remember that the second Saturday of February is the annual alumni homecoming celebration and needless to be formally invited, we are always welcome to attend there. See you around and May God enlighten our paths as we sojourn the labyrinth towards success. Thank you and Congratulations Batch 2012!

Allison Torres
Alumni Batch 2012 President
