On ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ, a full-scale Mass Casualty Incident Simulation was conducted at the ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ (๐จ๐๐) as part of the final return demonstration of Level IV Nursing students in ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ก๐๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด (๐๐๐ก) at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.
In this high-intensity drill, a fictional 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck the university, resulting in 141 reported victims, and extensive damage to buildings. Nursing students were immediately thrust into real-time crisis responseโdemonstrating their readiness, competence, and heart in the face of disaster.
Every decision, triage, and intervention echoed one truth:
This successful simulation was made possible under the supervision of Dr. Lynnette G. Cleto, our EDN Cluster Head; Prof. Aris Santos and Prof. Jhon Paul Francisco, our EDN Lecture professors; and our EDN Skills Laboratory professors: Dr. Alberto Dimasuay, Prof. Leizel Pandi, Prof. Xavier Rosales, Prof. Zera Rivera, Prof. Karl Irvin Baguio, and Prof. Jennifer Lagundino.
๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ: The simulation was entirely fictional and conducted solely for academic purposes. No real injuries or damage occurred.
