Ang ๐Œ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ฌ ๐…๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐š๐ฅ ay tagpo ng pananampalataya at sining na hinubog ng panahon at iningatan ng komunidad. Sa bawat maskarang inukit at bawat kasuotang maingat na inihanda, ๐ง๐š๐›๐š๐›๐š๐ง๐š๐š๐  ๐š๐ง๐  ๐ค๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐จ ๐ง๐ข ๐’๐š๐ง ๐‹๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐จ na nagsasalaysay ng pag asa at debosyon. Ang mga lansangan ay nagiging entablado ng panata ng mga taong naglalakad suot ang kanilang anyong mandirigma bilang tanda ng sakripisyo at paniniwala.

At nang sibatin ng Romanong sundalo at Santong si Longinus ang tagiliran ng nakapakong si Hesus, tumulo mula rito ang kanyang sagradong tubig at dugo na nagpagaling sa halos-bulag nang mga mata nito. Simula noon ay nagbago ang Romano, at bilang mga Katolikong Pilipino ay pinanatili ang alamat na ito, na siyang pinanghahawakan bago ang Kanyang pinakamalaking sakripisyoโ€”ang mamatay at tubusin ang kasalanan ng mundo. Kaya tara naโ€™t muling bagtasin ang diwa ng Piyesta ng Moriones!
