The College of Human Kinetics is one of the colleges of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines which is committed to provide quality education through effective instruction, relevant research production and responsive extension and community program. The college offers general basic Physical Education course which gives opportunities to PUPian to experience varied physical activities from p

hysical fitness, conditioning and maintenance; refinement of muscle movement through dance and movement exploration; and exposure to individual/dual and team sports. Enriching experiences through varied curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities meticulously designed for student holistic development. The Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED) and Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science (BSESS) are the flagship programs of the CHK. These programs are committed to help the government to have a healthy, productive, innovative, and responsive citizenry with a heart. These two programs are the extensions of tangible and intangible traits as well as culture of being a PUPian inspired with integrity and accountability, nationalism, spiritual, passion for lifelong learning, inclusivity, respects for other and for environment, excellence, and democracy.

In consideration of the transport strike, please be advised that classes across all campuses and academic extension programs from March 26 to 27, 2026 will shift to an online modality (synchronous or asynchronous).

This same modality will continue from March 28 to April 1, 2026 to allow students and faculty time to prepare for travel to their respective provinces in observance of the Holy Week.

April 2-5 are official holidays. There will be no work and classes on these days. Regular operations resume on April 6, Monday, following Flexi-place modality. Please transact through our official emails and via SINTA portal.

De Guzman as the new Chairperson of the Department of Professional Program.
