BSBA Stakeholders’ Forum 2026

The College of Business of Torres Capitol College, Inc. successfully conducted its BSBA Stakeholders’ Forum 2026, anchored on the theme:
“Strengthening Partnerships, Re-aligning Directions: Shaping an Outcomes-Based Business Education.”
The forum was convened as part of the College’s continuing commitment to academic excellence, relevance, and social responsibility, and as a strategic initiative to review and enhance the College Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO) and the undergraduate BSBA curriculum in alignment with the Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) framework and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) policies and standards.
Program Flow and Key Messages
The program formally opened with a prayer, the national anthem, and institutional hymns, setting a reflective and collaborative tone for the gathering. This was followed by the Opening Remarks of Dr. Ana Lee P. Garcia, LPT, DM, Dean of the College of Business, who welcomed the stakeholders and emphasized the importance of partnership, dialogue, and shared responsibility in ensuring quality and relevant business education.
The Rationale of the Stakeholders’ Forum was delivered by Dr. Arnel V. Bangis, DM, Vice President for Academic Affairs. In his message, Dr. Bangis highlighted that the forum is a vital component of the College’s quality assurance and continuous improvement processes, particularly in preparing the revised BSBA curriculum for implementation and future submission to CHED. He emphasized that meaningful curriculum development is grounded in consultation with industry, government, alumni, and community partners, ensuring that graduates are equipped with relevant knowledge, practical skills, ethical values, and professional competencies for employability, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.
The forum was further enriched by the Message of the College President, Ma’am Feelin Torres-Jumamil, MAN, RN, who reaffirmed the institution’s strong commitment to outcomes-based, industry-responsive, and values-driven education. She expressed her gratitude to the stakeholders for their continued support and active role in shaping the academic direction of the College of Business.
This was followed by the Presentation of the Department VMGO, Existing Curriculum, and Current Initiatives, which served as the basis for the succeeding Suggestions and Discussions, Continuation of Stakeholders’ Dialogue, and the Synthesis of Agreements and Action Plans, ensuring that all recommendations were carefully documented for integration into curriculum enhancement and action planning.
