The Office of the University Legal Counsel (OULC) presents its Monthly Accomplishment Report for April 2026.

The office remains committed to delivering timely and responsive legal services to the Central Mindanao University community. In total, 165 legal actions were processed during the month.

The activity brought together market stakeholders, vendors, community partners, and volunteers in a coordinated clean-up drive aimed at improving the cleanliness, safety, and overall environment of the CMU Market while fostering stronger relationships among its stakeholders.

Spearheaded by the Office of Enterprise Management (OEM) through its proactive head, ๐—”๐˜๐˜๐˜†. ๐—๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐— . ๐—ฉ๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ป, the activity underscored the importance of collective action in maintaining a clean, orderly, and sustainable market environment. Participants engaged in clearing overgrown vegetation, collecting and properly disposing of waste materials, cleaning common areas, and improving the overall appearance of the market premises.

More than an environmental undertaking, Bayanihan sa Musuan served as a platform for strengthening cooperation, trust, and camaraderie among market vendors, stakeholders, and community members. The activity reaffirmed the principle that sustainable development is best achieved when stakeholders work together toward a common goal of improving both their environment and their relationships with one another.

The University Housing and Relocation Committee (UHRC) of Central Mindanao University successfully conducted its ๐™ˆ๐’๐™ฃ๐’•๐™๐’๐™ฎ ๐™ˆ๐’†๐™š๐’•๐™ž๐’๐™œ ๐™ค๐’ ๐‘ด๐™–๐’š 21, 2026.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed ongoing requests for repairs, renovations, and constructions, along with applications for the transfer of housing contracts and matters concerning boarding house operations. Updates on relocation initiatives were also discussed, together with various concerns raised by university housing residents and stakeholders.

The meeting reinforced the committeeโ€™s commitment to transparent, fair, and efficient management of university housing policies in service of the entire CMU community.

The Technical Working Group (TWG) of the CMU University Housing and Relocation Committee successfully conducted a thorough on-site inspection in Purok 16, CMU Housing Community.

The team inspected more or less 25 cottages, assessed their current condition, reviewed housing contracts, and verified compliance with UHRC guidelines and policies. It was noted that 9 cottages have no housing contracts.

This inspection forms part of the committeeโ€™s ongoing efforts to ensure safe, sustainable, and properly documented housing for the university community through transparent and systematic evaluation.

Central Mindanao University officials, headed by President, Dr. Rolito G. Eballe. led the groundbreaking ceremony for the Foreign Student Dormitory along Sanchai Road inside the campus, today, May 26, 2026.

This project aimed at addressing the practical needs of international students and giving them a stronger sense of belonging in the university community.

Central Mindanao University through its president, Dr. Rolito G. Eballe, and Hoszer Agricultural Corporation, represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Thelma Joy M. Palma Gil officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement and Deed of Donation to strengthen livestock production, research, and agricultural training today, May 18, 2026.

The partnership includes a 45-day Dairy and Beef Cattle Production and Management Training Program and the donation of breeding cattle to support CMUโ€™s livestock research, instruction, and extension programs.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to innovation, education, and sustainable livestock development in Bukidnon.

Maramag, Bukidnon (May 12, 2026) โ€” Leaders of Central Mindanao University, including members of the Administrative Council and Unit Heads, stepped beyond their daily responsibilities to strengthen one of the universityโ€™s most important priorities: emergency preparedness.

Through a one-day Incident Command System (ICS) Executive Course, university officials immersed themselves in practical and strategic approaches to crisis and emergency management. More than just a lecture series, the intensive training served as a hands-on learning experience designed to equip participants with the knowledge and coordination skills needed during emergencies and major incidents.

The course covered five essential modules, including ICS organization and staffing, incident action planning, logistics and facilities management, and public safety coordination. Participants also engaged in interactive activities and exercises that allowed them to apply key concepts and better understand their shared responsibilities in protecting the university community.

Guiding the training were experienced disaster risk reduction and management practitioners and ICS trainers: Alan Comiso, Rou Francis Piscos, and Anecito Torayno Jr., who shared valuable field-based insights and best practices in emergency response and incident management.

University President Dr. Rolito G. Eballe expressed hope that the university will soon adopt a more integrated organizational structure for emergency response, further strengthening CMUโ€™s readiness and resilience in times of crisis.

Out of thousands of entries submitted by universities and institutions from across the world, the Office of the Legal Counselโ€™s โ€œJustice on Airโ€ earned a place among the Top 100 of the 2026 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), ranking 83rd under Category A6: Ethics and Integrity.

This prestigious international recognition affirms the impact of โ€œJustice on Airโ€ as an innovative platform for public legal education, ethical leadership, and community engagement. The program continues to bring the law closer to the people by promoting legal awareness, accountability, transparency, and respect for the rule of law.

The Office of the Legal Counsel of Central Mindanao University informs all concerned and the general public that, effective immediately, notarial services are no longer accepted or processed by the Office, in compliance with the directive of the Office of the President and in line with the principles of accountability and transparency in public service.

All individuals are advised to have their documents notarized by their preferred duly commissioned notaries public outside the University.

For institutional monitoring, documentation, and regulatory compliance, submission of an original copy of duly notarized documents remains mandatory, as follows:
