Ready to take the floor? Show us your passion, technique, and performance as we search for new members of the CMU Bidlisiw – Ballroom Team!

Audition Guidelines

1. Registration

• Scan the Google Form QR Code attached to this publication and complete the registration form before the audition.

2. Audition Schedule and Venue

DATE: August 11, 2026 (Tuesday)
TIME: 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
VENUE: University Social Hall, Central Mindanao University

3. Proper Attire
Please wear appropriate dance attire suitable for ballroom auditions.

• Fitted plain shirt or practice wear
• Black pants or leggings
• Ballroom dance shoes (if available)
• Hair should be neatly groomed and secured.

4. Audition Piece
Prepare a 1 minute and 30 seconds (1:30) solo/pair dance routine in any ONE of the following ballroom dances:

Latin American

• Samba
• Cha-Cha
• Rumba
• Paso Doble
• Jive

Modern Standard

• Slow Waltz
• Tango
• Viennese Waltz
• Slow Foxtrot
• Quickstep
