Central Mindanao University proudly celebrates the success of its 18 newly registered Certified Public Accountants, achieving an 81.82% passing rate in the May 2026 CPA Licensure Examination.

Notably, 16 out of 17 (94.12%) first-time takers successfully passed the examination, reflecting the University’s commitment to academic excellence and quality accountancy education. 👏

[IN PHOTOS] DAY 3 – CMU concluded the PCAARRD Monitoring and Evaluation: Status of Ongoing and Completed Projects with Pending/No Clearance on May 27, 2026, with a proposal packaging and evaluation meeting at the CMU Research Office.

The activity brought together representatives from DOST-PCAARRD, NOMCAARRD, and CMU to review and refine proposed research projects on food innovation, botanical pesticides, environmental rehabilitation, aquaculture, and agricultural sustainability. Discussions aimed to strengthen project proposals and ensure their alignment with funding, implementation, and research development priorities.

[IN PHOTOS] DAY 2 – CMU continued the PCAARRD Monitoring and Evaluation: Status of Ongoing and Completed Projects with Pending/No Clearance on May 26, 2026, through site visits to selected research projects across the university.

The monitoring team visited project sites focused on superior Yemane, Bagras, and Mangium clones for improved wood production; plant-based insecticides and preservatives; bamboo fiber assessment for textile applications; and the conservation of the critically endangered Isoetes philippinensis. These field visits enabled the team to validate project accomplishments, assess implementation progress, and discuss actions for proper documentation and clearance of PCAARRD-supported initiatives.

[IN PHOTOS] DAY 1 – CMU hosted the opening of the PCAARRD Monitoring and Evaluation: Status of Ongoing and Completed Projects with Pending/No Clearance on May 25, 2026, at the OP Conference Room.

The first day featured the presentation and evaluation of selected PCAARRD-supported research projects. It served as a venue for project leaders, university officials, and DOST-PCAARRD representatives to review accomplishments, address concerns, and discuss necessary actions for project completion and clearance.

[READ] Two CMU researchers named Top 10 APAMS graduate fellows at PAASE 2026

Research on food safety and biodiversity conservation earned national recognition as two Central Mindanao University (CMU) researchers were named among the Top10 APAMS Graduate Fellows for 2026. The recognition was conferred during the Annual Meeting and Symposium of the Philippine-American Academy of Science and Engineering (PAASE) and the APAMS Graduate Fellows Program held May 28–29 at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, Bagac, Bataan.
