💛💙Service in Action: Alpha Rho Chapter at Lakeside SDA Elementary School💛💙

On August 21, 2026, we traded speeches for service bringing our 59th Charter Anniversary celebration to where it truly belongs: among the people we serve.

At Lakeside SDA Elementary School, we were reminded of why this Fraternity has lasted 59 years. It was never just about the milestones or the medals. It's about showing up for the children who greeted us with the widest smiles, for the teachers who welcome us like family, and for a community that continues to trust us with a little piece of their day.

Every small moment we captured on video — the laughter, the little hands reaching out, the simple joy of being present is a reminder that service isn't a project we check off. It's a promise we keep, year after year, generation after generation of Brothers and Sisters.

This is what "igniting the flame, sustaining the legacy" really looks like not in gold letters on a banner, but in a classroom, in a schoolyard, in the eyes of a child who felt seen.

Thank you, Lakeside SDA Elementary School, for having us. Thank you to every Brother and Sister who gave their time and heart to make this happen.

In celebration of 59 years of leadership, friendship, and service, Alpha Phi Omega carried out a meaningful outreach program at APO Lakeside SDA Elementary School in Lake Apo Guinuyoran, Valencia City, Bukidnon, on August 21, 2026. Demonstrating the true spirit of cheerful service, members actively enhanced the campus environment by painting school chairs, walls, and classrooms to create a brighter learning environment for the children. The event was further enriched with engaging games and lively intermission numbers that brought dynamic entertainment to everyone present, followed by the distribution of snacks to the students and teachers. The uplifting day concluded on a heartfelt note as the school community offered a warm blessing and closing prayer, expressing deep gratitude to the APO volunteers, alumni, and sponsors who made this service activity possible.

A special and heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible Alumni President Brod. Matt Anthony Bangis for the unwaivering support and Alumni sponsors who made this meaningful service possible.
