The Education Sciences and Mathematics Society (ESMS) of MSU Main–College of Education proudly recognizes the outstanding achievement of its graduates who successfully passed the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT). A total of 18 graduates earned their licenses at the Secondary level, bringing pride and distinction to the Society and the College of Education, achieving a 𝟭𝟬𝟬% 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 for first-time takers.

This milestone is the result of consistent effort, resilience, and a shared commitment to excellence—both from the graduates and the educators who guided them throughout their academic journey. It also reflects the College of Education’s sustained dedication to delivering quality teacher education grounded in competence, integrity, and service.

The ESMS and the MSU College of Education extend their sincerest congratulations to the new Licensed Professional Teachers. As they embark on their professional paths, their success affirms the vital role of education in shaping individuals who will inspire, lead, and make a lasting difference in the lives of learners.

𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵

The Education Sciences and Mathematics Society is honored to share the successful completion of last Saturday's Seminar-Workshop on Statistical Methods in Descriptive Research, an event that brought together educators, pre-service teachers, and student researchers in a meaningful exchange of ideas and learning.

A heartfelt acknowledgment is extended to the distinguished Resource Speaker, Mr. SORAIM I. HADJINOR, LPT, MSciEd, whose expertise became the foundation of the day's learning experience. His clear explanations, evidence-based discussions, and practical insights helped participants navigate complex statistical concepts with confidence. His commitment to bridging theory and application greatly enriched the workshop, leaving attendees with a strengthened approach to research work.

Appreciation is also given to the College Dean, Dr. Rohanifa T. Mama-Marohombsar, whose presence added academic significance and encouragement to the event. Her sustained support for initiatives that promote research literacy and academic growth continues to inspire student organizations to pursue purposeful and impactful programs.

Gratitude is likewise expressed to the advisers, Prof. Norhayna Eryll M. Unte and Prof. Norhalin M. Ampuan, whose guidance played a vital role in the making the program possible. Their professionalism, direction, and encouragement ensured that the seminar-workshop remained aligned with the organization’s commitment to providing quality and meaningful learning opportunities.

The organization also recognizes the active engagement of participants who contributed thoughtful questions, relevant insights, and genuine enthusiasm throughout the discussions. Their participation not only enriched the flow of the seminar-workshop but also reaffirmed the importance of collaborative learning in building strong research foundations.

Special commendation is extended to the officers and volunteers behind the event whose dedication, coordination, and hard work—both visible and behind the scenes—ensured a smooth and well-organized program. Their commitment to excellence is reflected in every detail of the activity, from preparation to ex*****on.

Education Sciences and Mathematics Society (ESMS) shines in the recently concluded Inter-Organization Debate Tournament (IODT), in celebration of the 64th CED Foundation Day, on August 16-17, 2025, at the CED New Building.

Composed of four members, Hidaya A. Ampaso, Saif A. Amenodin, Nor-Aalleyah M. G**o, and Norjanah S. Mama, the team conquered the two-day tournament with adrenaline and passion, advanced to the grand finals and earned second place, against SSED debate team.

Individual Members earned the following distinctions:

These victories are not just medals on paper, but living proof of how passion and teamwork can turn challenges into triumphs.

This achievement reminds us that the true mark of a champion goes beyond the title, it’s the ability to rise, fight, and shine no matter the arena. Once crowned as overall champions, now standing proud as overall 1st runner-up, ESMS continues to build a legacy of excellence and resilience. And as long as there are stages to conquer and arenas to fill, ESMS will always be there—louder, stronger, and braver than ever.

The Education Sciences and Mathematics Society (ESMS) has once again shown that determination and teamwork are the true formula for success as they secured back-to-back championships in the Sigaw Kalye Competition during the 64th CED Foundation Day at the International Convention Center on August 26, 2025.

After claiming the crown last year, ESMS returned to the arena stronger than ever—proving their spirit by defending the title against six other vibrant societies: CEEMSO, CHE, ECEDS, FIMSO, GEMS, and SSED. The event came alive with chants, yells, steps, and formations, each performance bursting with energy, creativity, and unity.

With this victory, ESMS cements its legacy as a true powerhouse of talent and spirit—showing that when hard work meets passion, success is never just a moment, but a tradition.

Education Sciences and Mathematics Society (ESMS) emerged as champion in the College T-shirt Layout Contest held in celebration of the 64th College of Education Foundation Day, announced on Thursday, August 26, 2025, at the International Convention Center.

Competing against four artists, ESMS students demonstrated its design prowess with a standout layout. The winning design was created by Ansorah S. Panondi, while another ESMS entry, designed by Almer A. Lianto, earned second place. This achievement proves that the organization not only excels in experiments and problem-solving but also excels in translating ideas into compelling and aesthetically pleasing designs.

The contest provided students with the opportunity to explore their creativity and showcase their design skills. ESMS's winning entry, recognized for its clarity and aesthetic sense, added a distinctive touch to the 64th College of Education Foundation Day celebrations.

Education Sciences and Mathematics Society (ESMS) emerged as champion in the 8th Inter-Organization Quiz Show held in celebration of the 64th College of Education Foundation Day, held on August 17, at the Social Hall, New Building, CED.

The Quiz show brought together representatives from all 7 organizations, CEEMSO, CHE, ECEDS, ESMS, FIMSO, GEMS, & SSED, who competed in an intellectually charged contest, that showcased their wit, knowledge, and academic excellence.

Winners of the Quiz Show:

• Champion: ESMS's Team Prime Matter (Nigel C. Lanoza and Asnorah S. Panondi)

• 1st runner up: FIMSO's Team Makata (Sittie Shaimah Sailanie and Arham U. Kurangking)

• 2nd runner up: CEEMSO's Team Manarable CEEMSO (Jamera L. Sarip and Junaidah A.J Alingan)

This Competition highlights the battle of the wits among student organization, adding another layer of excitement and prestige to the Foundation Day celebrations, underscoring the importance academic prowess and intellectual camaraderie within the college.

Featuring Meme Making, Film Trailer Parody, and DP Blast, the competition put creativity to the test—and ESMS rose above the rest with standout design skills and collective effort. This win is more than just a medal—it’s proof that teamwork and talent go hand in hand.

More than just a win, this achievement highlights how ESMS excels not only inside the academic bubble but also in the digital space, turning passion, unity, and creativity into a true treasure chest of success.

On August 26, 2025, at the International Convention Center, the Education Sciences and Mathematics Society (ESMS) proudly brought home 1st Runner-Up in the Wanna Be Category and 2nd Runner-Up in the Vocal Duet Category during the 64th CED Foundation Musical and Dance Competition.

Through their captivating performances, ESMS showcased not only their vocal talent and stage presence but also their creativity and passion in the vast ocean of music and dance. Their artistry made waves of admiration among both the audience and the judges.

Once again, ESMS proves that we shine not only in academics but also in the performing arts—where hard work, teamwork, and passion turn every stage into an unforgettable experience.
