CBAAโManagement Department Launches
Career Readiness and Employability Skills Program at MCNHS
The Department of Management, College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) successfully launched its Extension Service Program on Career Readiness and Employability Skills for Senior High School Students on December 10โ11, 2025 at Marawi City National High School (MCNHS).
Organized by Dr. Sonayah D. Guimba, Program Coordinator of the MBA in HRM and OLM and Department Extension Focal Person, the two-day lecture and workshop focused on preparing students for future work and career decisions.
Day 1 covered career readiness, career mapping using MBTI, the world of work, and workplace ethics.
Day 2 highlighted communication and interpersonal skills, job application skills, and soft skills for employability.
The launching was attended by MCNHS officials and teachers led by Principal Dr. Paramata M. Bantuas, with the support of Marawi City Division HRDO Dr. Asliah M. Maniri, and CBAA Management faculty headed by Department Chairperson Dr. Hanafe L. Abdulmalik.

This initiative will run as a five-month mentoring program aimed at strengthening studentsโ employability, career clarity, and workplace readiness. Special thanks to the Junior Executive Club (JEC) officers and student volunteers for their support during the activity.
The program aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and supports the CBAA Research and Extension Roadmap on human capital development and employability enhancement.
The successful launching marks the beginning of sustained mentoring and meaningful universityโschool collaboration.
