A new set of student leaders has officially emerged following the conclusion of the student council elections, with the organization reinstating the position title โ€œPresidentโ€ in place of the previously used โ€œChief. from the parliamentary setting.

With 143 voters, Jawawie R. Baguinda was elected as President after earning 84.6%, taking the highest post in the councilโ€™s newly formed leadership. The change marks the councilโ€™s return to a more familiar governance structure, restoring the traditional designation of the organizationโ€™s top office.

Elected alongside Baguinda is Sittie Rayhanah A. Latip, who won the seat for Vice President with 63.6%. Meanwhile, Janice Amor B. Bunghanoy was proclaimed Secretary after receiving 74.8%.

For the councilor positions, Mahatir M. Amerol was elected Councilor for Academic Affairs with 83.9%. In the race for Councilor for Arts and Recreation, Nasimah C. Olama emerged victorious with 67.1%, surpassing Norsema P. Sharief, who garnered 32.1%.

In other posts, Shaliha T. Abdillah secured the position of Councilor for Budget and Finance with 71.3%, while Rahma O. Mamailao won as Councilor for Information and Communication with 75.5%.

The election results officially complete the composition of the incoming student council, whose officers are expected to assume their duties upon formal proclamation.

The return of the presidency title signals a notable organizational shift, reflecting the councilโ€™s move toward a more conventional leadership structure as the newly elected officers prepare to begin their term.
