In a remarkable display of literacy and skill, 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐁𝐈𝐎𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋, headed by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐟𝐬𝐚𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧, and composed of 𝐌𝐬. 𝐍𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐚, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐧𝐚, and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧, accompanied by two of the high-esteemed faculty members of the the Department of Accountancy, Prof. Normallah C. Abubakar, CPA, and Atty. Hanimai I. Macumbal, CPA, took the center stage and emerged victorious in the prestigious case competition held at the UNITAR International University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The competition, which drew participants from the other ASEAN countries like Indonesia and Malaysia witnessed our representatives stand out and excel in their own domains.

This momentous victory not only reflects a personal triumph but also resonates as a source of pride for the MSU MAIN JPIA community. It serves as a living example of the potentials for excellence that resides within the JPIAns.

Note: Qualifiers are instructed to proceed to the Accountancy Department for the INTERVIEW this 2pm, July 18, Tuesday and will resume on July 20, Thursday 8am-12nn.

There will be NO interview tomorrow, July 19, as it is a non-working holiday in observance of "Amun Jadid" or Islamic New Year as per the MSU memo

A Consultation with Stakeholders is to be conducted by the Department of Accountancy on March 30, 2023, 9 am, at the BSA Multi Purpose Room.

The meeting is to be attended by different stakeholders such as BS Accountancy students, parents, and instructors from the Department of Accountancy.

The Department of Accountancy will conduct a stakeholders' meeting tomorrow, March 30, 2023, from 9:30-11:30 AM at the BSA Multipurpose Room (Old Shariah Library). All student leaders and/or representatives from batch Affiliates, Annuity, and Venturers, all 4th year students, and JPIA Officers are required to attend in the said event. Other students are encouraged and welcome to attend as well.

The Accountancy Department family extends its condolences to the grieving family of Prof. Damiana "Damie" Goles who passed away today, February 24, 2023.

As a teacher, colleague, and dear friend, Ma'am Damie has touched many hearts with her kindness and generosity. Undeniably, her great contribution to the department, college, and MSU is a lasting legacy and we cannot thank her enough.

We will forever miss you, Ma'am Damie!
