The Social Work Department of Mindanao State University - Marawi City is pleased to announce the upcoming Graduate Research Seminar of the Master of Science in Social Work students entitled:

The term 𝘐𝘕𝘘𝘜𝘐𝘙𝘜𝘔 is a scholarly fusion of the words 𝘪𝘯𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘳𝘦 and 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘶𝘮 - where inquire signifies the process of seeking knowledge and conducting investigation, while colloquium refers to an academic forum for presentation and scholarly discussion.

This seminar serves as an academic platform for graduate students to present their research outputs and engage in meaningful scholarly discourse with invited experts in the field of social work.

The event will feature 𝘴𝘪𝘹 (6) 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 and will be critically engaged by 𝘴𝘪𝘹 (6) 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴.

The The Social Work Department of Mindanao State University - Marawi City, in partnership with the Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc. (PASWI) – Iligan City Chapter Paswi Iligan, is pleased to invite medical social workers and allied health social workers to a two-day capacity training entitled:

"Building the Capacity of Medical Social Workers on Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI)"

📅 March 28–29, 2026 (8:00am to 5:00am)

This training aims to strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of medical social workers in advancing gender equality, disability inclusion, and social inclusion within hospital and community settings. Participants will gain context-specific tools and strategies to enhance inclusive and rights-based social work practice.

Ms. Amelyn L. Laro, an experienced social work practitioner and advocate for GEDSI and gender mainstreaming.

Good day, MSSW/MSW Graduands!

We are pleased to announce that the College Tribute and Hooding Program for CPA graduands is scheduled for February 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the MSU International Convention Center.

Please ensure your P2,000.00 contribution is settled on or before February 10, 2025. Payments can be made to Ms. Joan Christie Legaspi at the CPA Administrative Staff Office.

Your contribution covers the following:

-Meals (for the graduand and one parent)
-Medal
-Certificate with holder/frame
-Graduand's souvenir item
-Program and invitation
-Venue fee, audiovisual setup, maintenance, and staff meals
-Meals for guests, faculty, staff, usherettes, and technical personnel
-GS token and plaque

Please be informed that the online orientation for the First Semester of S.Y. 2024-2025 will be held on August 24, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

During this orientation, we will discuss important topics including the thesis, capstone projects, the Comprehensive Exam, and the election of officers.

**Attendance is a must.**
