As Public Administration students and future leaders, we must remember that humor should never come at the expense of truth or trust. April Fools’ Day can be a time for fun, but Proverbs 12:22 reminds us that "the Lord delights in people who are trustworthy." Our jokes and actions should uplift others rather than mislead them.

Ephesians 4:25 calls us to "put off falsehood and speak truthfully," highlighting the importance of integrity in governance. As we lead, let our humor reflect love and respect, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. In our pursuit of good governance, may we always prioritize honesty, ensuring our words and actions build trust within our communities.

Prayer: Lord, guide us in our leadership to uphold truth and integrity. Help us to use humor wisely, fostering trust and respect in our interactions. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
