Dr. Pratik Mungekar is a globally acclaimed scientist, professor, counselor, and international speaker, widely recognized for his visionary leadership and pioneering contributions to education, research, and innovation. A trailblazer in his field, he has achieved several remarkable milestones and earned numerous honorary doctorates from institutions across the world, establishing himself as one of the most respected experts of his generation.
With an extraordinary commitment to academic excellence and human development, Dr. Mungekar has taught more than 80,000 students, provided career guidance to over 77,000 learners, and trained 12,000+ educators, continuously inspiring future leaders and changemakers. He has held multiple high-level leadership positions simultaneously and has been appointed as an ambassador by various national and international bodies across diverse disciplines.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to teaching and research, Dr. Mungekar has received 1,100+ international, national, and state awards, secured 14 national scientific patents, and achieved 19 world records, placing him among the most decorated academics globally. He serves as a visiting faculty member at several prestigious national and international universities.
A prolific author and thought leader, Dr. Mungekar has written 10 influential books, including Introduction to Sustainable Development Goals, Education: An Eternal Asset, Leadership & Superintendence, Sustainable Horizons, Finding Balance, Inscribe, Insight, Silent Revolution, Echoes, and the best-selling Stem Cell Science. In addition, he has co-authored 48 books and has published extensively in leading international journals. He has represented India as a Keynote Speaker at over 400+ international conferences and serves as an editor for multiple academic journals.
Dr. Mungekar’s exceptional achievements have earned him several prestigious honors, including Lecturus Magnificus (L.M.), H.R.H. SIR, and the Mendeleev Fellowship, one of the United Kingdom’s highest academic distinctions. He is also the first Indian to receive the distinguished title “Professor Wisdom” from the Institución Cultural Colombiana Casa Poética Magia y Plumas, Colombia, South America.
In June 2024, he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), London, UK, in recognition of his significant contributions to education, research, literature, and community development.
Currently, Dr. Mungekar serves as the President of the Mashelkar Swarup Space and Innovation Centre, Pune, and as the Director of Research and Innovation and Director of Internationalization at Sharda Education Society, Thane, affiliated with the University of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
