OBJECTIVES
• Communicate regularly the importance of wellness to students, staff,
and parents through health promotion programs
• Develop nutrition and food safety programs
• Promote friendly waste segregation and disposal
• Suggest integration of health topics into other subjects
• Provide trainings to increase the capacity of staff to teach the health
education and promote physical education and recreational programs
• Offer basic health care services
• Refer patients effectively to specialists
• Form alliances with health, welfare and local community agencies
• Develop school/community projects and outreach programs
