He urged the graduates to remain courageous, adaptable, and determined as they pursue their aspirations, emphasizing that success is built through continuous learning, unwavering commitment, and the willingness to rise after every setback.

Adding inspiration to the ceremony, Johnabeth D. Dela Torre, Magna Cum Laude, delivered the valedictory address on behalf of the graduating class. Reflecting on the unexpected turns of life, she reminded her fellow graduates that the most meaningful blessings often come from paths they never imagined taking. โ€œThe best things in life are the ones we never planned,โ€ she shared, encouraging everyone to embrace uncertainty with faith and confidence.

Sharing her personal journey, Dela Torre recounted the hardships, sacrifices, and obstacles she encountered throughout her academic life, emphasizing that every challenge became an opportunity to grow stronger and more determined. With heartfelt gratitude, she paid tribute to her parents, acknowledging them as the driving force behind her success. She dedicated her achievements to them, recognizing their unwavering love, sacrifices, and constant support as the foundation of everything she had accomplished.

Recognizing exemplary student leadership and service, Hon. Benjie T. Jimenez, System-Wide Supreme Student Council President and Student Trustee, was presented with the Highest Non-Academic Excellence and Leadership Award, making him the sole recipient among approximately 200 student leaders in recognition of his outstanding commitment to student welfare, servant leadership, and meaningful contributions to the JHCSC community. His recognition underscored the Collegeโ€™s commitment to developing not only academically competent graduates but also principled leaders dedicated to making a positive impact in society.

The commencement exercises served not only as a celebration of academic excellence but also as a testament to the resilience, determination, and aspirations of the graduating Class of 2026. As they begin new chapters in their lives, the graduates carry with them the knowledge, skills, and values nurtured by JHCSC, preparing them to become future-ready professionals and leaders capable of driving innovation, excellence, and sustainable development in an increasingly dynamic global society.

The successful conduct of the ceremony once again reflects J.H. Cerilles State Collegeโ€™s unwavering commitment to providing accessible, quality, and transformative education while producing competent professionals and future leaders who are prepared to advance the institutionโ€™s A.C.H.I.E.V.E. agenda and contribute meaningfully to their communities, the nation, and the world.

June 5, 2026, was an ordinary day for some, but for the graduands of the School of Teacher Education (STE) of J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Main Campus, it was a day filled with pride, gratitude, and celebration. The institution beamed with joy during the Tribute to Parents and Recognition Rites 2026, held under the theme โ€œFrom Dreams to Destiny: Honoring the Pillars of Our Success.โ€

The program commenced with the processional march of the graduands, accompanied by their greatest pillarsโ€”their parents. Together, they walked toward a milestone they had long dreamed of reaching. After four years of hard work, perseverance, and unwavering support from their loved ones, they finally stood on the path they had worked so hard to attain. Through countless challenges and sacrifices, their dreams had gradually transformed into reality.

As the program progressed, emotions filled the venue as the graduands delivered a heartfelt tribute through the song โ€œMaPaโ€ by SB19. The chorus,"Kaya 'wag mag-alala, ipikit ang 'yong mata, tahan na. Pahinga muna, ako na'ng bahala. Labis pa sa labis ang 'yong nagawa, Mama, pahinga muna, ako na," echoed throughout the hall, sung with sincerity, gratitude, and pride. The performance moved many in attendance, serving as a touching expression of appreciation for the parents who had stood beside them throughout their journey.

The event was witnessed by the faculty and staff of STE, parents, representatives of the College President, and even the Mayor of San Miguel. Held in a venue filled with warmth and celebration, the ceremony created lasting memories for everyone present.

As a symbol of their gratitude and love, the graduands presented tokens of appreciation to their parents. Whether flowers, gifts, or simple gestures of affection, each offering reflected the graduatesโ€™ heartfelt thanks for the unwavering support, sacrifices, and encouragement their parents had given throughout their academic journey.

Indeed, every dream realized and every destiny fulfilled within the institution was made possible through the collective support of family, mentors, and the community. With their parents and guardians as their pillars of guidance, the graduates found the strength to soar to greater heights. Their loved ones have been, and will continue to be, the foundation of their successโ€”yesterday, today, and in the years to come.

On June 6, 2026, the JHCSC School of Law came together for its first-ever Seniorsโ€™ Night, a memorable occasion that celebrated not only academic achievement but also the perseverance, sacrifice, and determination that shaped every member of the graduating class.

These photos capture more than a night of recognitionโ€”they preserve a milestone that marked the culmination of years of hard work and the beginning of new journeys in the legal profession.

We extend our deepest gratitude to President Edgardo H. Rosales for his unwavering support of legal education and to Dean Romylyn Regidor for her dedication and leadership in guiding the School of Law community. Their commitment helped make this historic event possible.

To our graduates, may this evening remain a cherished reminder of how far you have come and all that you have overcome. As you embark on the next chapter of your lives, may you carry forward the values, knowledge, and legacy you have built within these halls.

Though your time as law students has come to an end, your journey as future guardians of justice is only beginning.

Serving as the guest speaker, Hon. Maria Kristina Jihan B. Glepa, One Coop Representative, described commencement as a significant turning point in the graduates' lives, emphasizing that education does not end with the awarding of diplomas. She highlighted the importance of the A.C.H.I.E.V.E. agenda championed by Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis and shared her own journey as an inspiration to the graduates. According to Glepa, the pillars of A.C.H.I.E.V.E. are not merely institutional policies but guiding principles that encourage lifelong learning, meaningful service, and the pursuit of excellence on a global scale.

"Keep learning even when it's hard. Serve with integrity even when no one is watching. Dream globally but act locally, and above all, measure success not by what you gain but what you give," Glepa told the graduates. She urged the Class of 2026 to uphold integrity, remain committed to continuous growth, and use their knowledge and skills to
make positive contributions to their communities and the wider society.

Speaking on behalf of the graduating class, Mr. Kent Peter M. Rondrique, Magna Cum Laude from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program, reflected on the challenges and triumphs that shaped their academic journey. He expressed gratitude to the families, mentors, faculty members, and peers who supported them throughout their college years. "This commencement exercises are more than just a ceremony; they are the culmination of years of dreams, struggles, victories, and countless moments that tested our strength and character," Rondrique said.

The ceremony also featured the recognition of Latin honor awardees and the distribution of diplomas and Transcripts of Records to the graduates. Anchored in the A.C.H.I.E.V.E. agenda, the event marked the culmination of the students' academic pursuits and served as a testament to JHCSC's commitment to producing future-ready graduates who are equipped to contribute to national development and global excellence.
