𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝟯𝗿𝗱 & 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆
The Pambayang Kolehiyo ng Mauban Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) successfully conducted its 3rd and 4th Training Day on 23 August 2026 at the PKM Campus.

The 3rd Training Day formally commenced at 0800H with a Flag Ceremony led by the Training Staff and Advance ROTC Officers. The ceremony served as a reminder of the cadets’ commitment to discipline, patriotism. This was followed by an Opening Message delivered by MSG Antonio M. Borromeo Jr. PA (RES), providing guidance and motivation to the cadets and cadettes for the day’s scheduled activities.

At 0820H, a lecture on Environmental Awareness and Protection was conducted by ENP Ferdinand C. Porol, Jesza Angeli Opeña, and Bea Denille T. Banagan from the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO). The discussion emphasized the importance of environmental protection, responsible use of natural resources, proper environmental practices, and the role of the youth in maintaining a clean and sustainable community.

At 1030H, the cadets and cadettes participated in a lecture on Drugs and Substance Abuse, Prevention, and Control, led by PEMS Jocelyn U. Teves C. of the Mauban Municipal Police Station. The lecture provided valuable information regarding the risks and consequences associated with drug and substance abuse, while emphasizing the importance of prevention, responsible decision-making, and maintaining a healthy and disciplined lifestyle. The morning training activities concluded with the Dismissal for Lunch at 1200H,

The afternoon session resumed at 1330H, marking the start of the 4th Training Day. At 1400H, the Selection of Aspirants for the Cadet Officer Candidate Course (COCC) was conducted under the leadership of SGT Gerwin M. Custodio PA (RES). The selection activity aimed to identify cadets who demonstrated the potential, discipline, commitment, and leadership qualities necessary for further development as future Cadet Officers.

At 1430H, the selected COCC aspirants were separated from their respective platoon formations and assembled in the open field for further instruction. The activity provided the selected aspirants with an opportunity to begin their transition toward more advanced leadership and military training.

Following the selection, the remaining ROTC cadets and cadettes underwent instruction on Basic ROTC Commands, strengthening their knowledge and proper ex*****on of fundamental commands used during formations and drills. The activity emphasized discipline, attentiveness, coordination, proper response to commands, and military bearing. The day’s activities officially concluded with the Dismissal at 1630H.

This registration initiative aims to administer reservists more effectively by simplifying the process through Google Forms and ensuring accurate record updates. It reduces the need for repeated visits to Community Defense Centers (CDCs) and Regional Community Defense Groups (RCDGs).

By utilizing QR code technology, reservists can conveniently access registration and update forms. This innovation makes the process more organized, cost‑effective, and user‑friendly, strengthening administrative efficiency across CALABARZON.
