On April 11th, the PLMun Center for Culture and the Arts (CCA), with the following groups: PLMUN Band: Euphoria, PLMun Chorale, PLMun Dulangsining, Arqitecz, and Kultura Teknika, witnessed the powerful performance of Paglalakbay: The Journey of the Sea People by Ballet Philippines. Part of their 57th season, "Legacy, Forward," the production brought the history of our Austronesian ancestors to life through the story of Ama, Kaman, and Biyag. Our student-artists were treated to a world-class showcase of Filipino ingenuity that surely fueled the creativity of our home-grown talents.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Trina Biazon for not just providing this enrichment opportunity that fed not just our souls and minds but our bodies as well. And to Mr. Gene Lloyd Vincent Arado from the Gender and Development (GAD) Office, headed by Mr. Reggie Salonga, for their support and guidance.
Special thanks also to Mayor Ruffy Biazon for making this cultural experience possible.
Every moment of this world-class performance was captured through the lenses of our documentation team, Jeanna Lei Reyes and Frances Agatha Perinia, and under the supervision and guidance of Ms. Leonilyn I. Carpiz, now the current director of Kultura Teknika.
