LAPTOP BAG DISTRIBUTION
On October 30, regular, casual, and Contract of Service (COS) employees of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) received laptop bags provided by the City Government of Muntinlupa. The university's faculty and administrative staff express their sincere gratitude to Mayor Ruffy Biazon and Officer-in-Charge Dr. Elena E. Presnedi for their generous support.

PAMANTASAN NG LUNGSOD NG MUNTINLUPA RECEIVES ICONS OF CHANGE AWARD

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) was recognized with the Excellence in Applied Consultancy, Policy Innovation, and Faculty–Student–Industry Collaboration Among Cooperatives Award during the Icons of Change recognition ceremony held on October 26, 2026, at Quest Plus Conference Center, Manila, Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

The award recognizes PLMun’s commitment to research-driven solutions, innovative policies, and meaningful collaboration that contribute to stronger cooperative leadership and institutional sustainability. The university’s applied consultancy initiative, undertaken through its Graduate School, highlights the institution’s role in translating academic expertise and research into practical, evidence-based solutions that address the needs of cooperatives and their communities.

Presented by the Rotary Club of Alabang Madrigal Business Park, in partnership with Icons of Change and the Cooperative Development Authority, the recognition underscores the importance of graduate-level expertise, policy innovation, and faculty–student–industry collaboration in advancing organizational development and sustainable community impact.

This achievement reflects PLMun’s continuing commitment to transforming knowledge into practical solutions and strengthening partnerships that create lasting impact in the community, while reinforcing the Graduate School’s contribution to applied research, consultancy, and institutional development.

𝗣𝗟𝗠𝗨𝗡 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗘 𝗔𝗗𝗗𝗦 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗖 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗠 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗠𝗔𝗦 𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗛 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
From melodies that warmed the heart to harmonies that brought the spirit of Christmas closer, Kultura Teknika had the privilege of capturing the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) Chorale as they filled the evening with music during SM Muntinlupa’s “The Festive Sparkle” on Sunday, October 25th, at exactly 6 PM.
Through their renditions of “Season of Light,” “Joy to the World,” “Deck the Halls,” “Carol of the Bells,” “Kumukutikutitap,” and “Diwa ng Pasko,” the PLMun Chorale brought the joy of the season to life. The celebration was also graced by Hon. Rozzano Rufino Biazon, City Mayor of Muntinlupa, and Hon. Stephanie “Phanie” Teves, City Vice Mayor of Muntinlupa.
As the season of giving draws near, Kultura Teknika hopes that the melodies of Christmas remind us to share not only joy through music, but also warmth, kindness, and love with the people around us. After all, the true magic of Christmas lies in the connections that bring us together.

Nakiisa ang mga campus journalists at kani-kanilang mga gurong tagapayo, mula Luzon hanggang Mindanao, sa ika-17 National Campus Media Conference (NCMC) mula Oktubre 22-24, 2026, sa Crown Legacy Hotel sa City of Pines, Baguio City.

Sa pangunguna ng School Press Advisers’ Movement (SPAM) Inc., umikot ang preskon sa temang “Shaping Powerful and Adaptive Media in the AI Era: Fostering Integrity, Excellence, and Competence in Socio-Political Reporting among Campus Journalists.”

Nagbahagi naman ng isang makabuluhang talakayan si TV5 News Anchor Mon Gualvez, na nagsilbing keynote speaker sa naturang pagtitipon.

Waging naiuwi ni Lorien Jahn L. Salandanan, Productions Director ng Radyo Pilimon, ang 6th Place sa Tertiary Division ng Mobile Photojournalism, News Photo - English Category.

Nasungkit naman ni RV S. Balbuena, Editor-in-Chief ng The Warden Publication, ang 10th Place sa Tertiary Division ng Mobile Photojournalism News Photo – Filipino Category.

Nakilahok din sa iba't ibang patimpalak si Ceven Rosquites, Managing Editor ng The Warden Publication.
