On October 2, 2026, the University of Nueva Caceres commemorated 𝐃olores 𝐇ernandez 𝐒ison 𝐃𝐚𝐲 and celebrated 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐃𝐚𝐲, honoring the dedication, passion, and lasting impact of educators who continue to inspire and shape generations.

As part of the celebration, the 𝐔𝐍𝐂 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 and 𝐍u 𝐊appa-𝐍u Kappa 𝐁etta Honour Fraternity and Sorority proudly present the winning entries of the 𝐃𝐇𝐒 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭, centered on the theme:

The wreath-laying ceremony is underway at the UNC DHS Monument, led by the UNC Lady Scouts, honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Dolores H. Sison.

The moment became even more special as students joined together in singing the UNC Hymn, making the commemoration a heartfelt celebration of our shared legacy. 🩷💜🌸✨

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Students, educational stakeholders, and the UNC community gathered at the University Chapel on October 2, 2026, to honor the legacy of Dr. Dolores "Madam Dolly" H. Sison, the 2nd President of the University of Nueva Caceres.

Led by the UNC Women's Club and the Nu Kappa Beta Honor Fraternal Organization, the commemoration went through a Holy Mass followed by a wreath-laying ceremony and heartfelt messages at the DHS Monument from the Former Executive Vice President Lily Anonas, Vice President for Academic Affairs Fely Sabaupan, and Ceci Anonas, dedicated to the lifelong contributions, leadership, and memories of Madam Dolly, who continues to inspire the hearts of UNCeans.

The same day after the program, the DHS Day Feature-Writing Competition, which aimed to showcase UNCeans' creativity, writing skills, and appreciation for meaningful stories about Madam Dolly, along with the celebration of Teachers' Day, was held at the UNC E-Library.
