Representatives from the UNC Pre-Law Society attended the Naga City Peoples Council (NCPC) Youth Sectoral Meeting today, June 20, 2026. The meeting was held at the NCPC Conference Room inside the JMR Coliseum in Naga City.

​This engagement provides the city's youth with an opportunity to be heard and to actively participate in discussions that affect their community. Their valuable contributions and insights will surely drive inclusive and sustainable development in our city.

Is the Philippines still worth getting shot in the back? To bleed and kneel for the country’s freedom.

Our ancestors carried a pen and a piece of paper, leaving an inheritance of freedom, education, rights, and a love for the country.

Today, June 12, marks the 128th Philippine Independence Day, though battles may no longer be fought on the battlefield, but the responsibility remains the same: to defend the liberties they struggled to secure and to uphold the justice they dreamed of for future generations.

𝘚𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘬𝘶𝘭𝘰, 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘢, 𝘢𝘵 𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘰, 𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘨-𝘢𝘴𝘢 𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘬𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯.

To our Dearest Ate Shane,

There is no compass given to those who dare to build something from nothing. There is no map for the road walked by those who choose to believe in a dream before anything is built, before anything is proven, before anyone else dares to follow. And yet you walked it. From the very founding of UNCPLS, you walked it with clarity, with purpose, and with a love for the law and the people it serves that has never once wavered.

Earning your Master of Legal Studies is not simply an academic achievement. It is a declaration of who you have always been. The years did not diminish you. The challenges did not silence you. The weight of what you helped build did not slow you down. Instead, they shaped you into the person standing before us today: a cognizant and proactive changemaker, a servant leader, and a lifelong learner whose pursuit of justice has never been just a vision written into a constitution, but a living, breathing truth in everything you do.

Watching you flourish, reminds us exactly why we started in the first place.

This is not the finish line. It never was. It was always the beginning of something greater. RESOLUTION NO. 3, S. 2026

The UNC Pre-Law Society formally announces the acceptance of the resignation of Mr. Kim Fabregas from the position of Chief Justice and recognizes Ms. Ma. Angel Altea M. Esqueta as the new Chief Justice of the organization for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

In accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws of the organization and guided by the principles of continuity, leadership, and service, the organization entrusts Ms. Esqueta with the responsibilities and duties as the new Chief Justice

The organization extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Kim Fabregas for his dedication and service, and looks forward to the continued growth and success of the UNC Pre-Law Society under its new leadership.

🎞️𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 | 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐰𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞🐾✨

What a fulfilling day to be part of the🐾𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐰𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞: 𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.🐾This event was a great starting point to stand up for animal rights, turning our passion into action.

The talk was led by our three resource speakers, 𝗘𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗣. 𝗔𝘀𝗽𝗲-𝗱𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝘀, and 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗲 𝗖. 𝗚𝗼, who skillfully tackled animal welfare rights, responsible pet ownership, and the stray community. Free legal consultation was also available which was led by 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗲ñ𝗮 where individuals could seek advice related to animal welfare cases.

After the event, a first set of UNC Protection of Animal Welfare - Students' Association officers for S. Y. 2026- 2027 was elected. They will ensure that through their leadership the UNCeans are guided towards various volunteer initiatives and programs that aim to create a safe and inclusive environment not only for our furry friends but also for the entire UNC community.

We want to extend our appreciation to everyone who was part of this event. You are the reason for its success, making us even more motivated to continue with our mission: to be the voice of the voiceless.

We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to share with you what our association has in store for our beloved PAWSA!🩶✨
