Congratulations to our philosophy faculty member, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗣. Your contribution to the academe and its relevance in today’s society truly presents valuable insights into a balanced ethical position that acknowledges both human moral agency and the necessity of protecting nonhuman beings.

The Philosophy Department faculty gathered on October 8, 2026 for an in-house training and workshop exploring the use of Artificial Intelligence in preparing and refining course syllabi. The session was facilitated by Mr. Arman Ogarte, M.A., Program Director of Interdisciplinary Studies.

The workshop provided an opportunity for the faculty to revisit the syllabi, explore AI-assisted approaches, and reflect on how emerging technologies can support---rather than replace---the work of teaching and curriculum development.

Many thanks to Sir Arman, and to our Faculty for the time, work, and thoughtful conversations!
