𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟭 ✨

Today, we gather as one Vincentian community, joining the Bicolano faithful in prayer and devotion for the 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, for the enduring devotion to Ina that continues to unite generations of Bicolanos.

As children of Ina, we are reminded of Mary's maternal presence, which gathers us together as one family of faith. We honor her as 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗼𝗹 and lovingly entrust to her our personal journeys, our families, and the life and mission of our community. Through her maternal care and steadfast intercession, she continually leads us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. As a Catholic and Vincentian institution, may our devotion to Ina find expression in our commitment to journey with one another and to serve especially those who are most in need.

Ms. Lipa pursued 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 at our university, graduating in the year 2023. Today, she continues to carry the values of her Vincentian education into her work and service to the community. May you continue to carry the spirit of Vincentian excellence wherever your journey takes you, serving with purpose, leading with compassion, and inspiring others to make a difference.

Please be informed that, in observance of 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, there will be no classes and no office transactions on August 31, 2026.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: 𝗨𝗦𝗜 𝗚𝗖𝗧𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 🔰

Today, the USI community gathered for “𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲” at the 𝗨𝗦𝗜 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺, bringing together parents, educators, school personnel, and stakeholders in an important conversation on student safety.

The session featured 𝗠𝘀. 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲-𝗚𝗼, 𝗣𝗵𝗗, 𝗥𝗣𝗦𝗬, 𝗖𝗖𝗟𝗣, University PsychServe Clinical Psychologist, who elaborated on behavioral patterns, changes in behavior, and other observable signs in children that parents and school personnel can be attentive to—particularly those that may signal underlying concerns or potentially contribute to violent behavior.

The discussion served as an important reminder of the need for early awareness, appropriate intervention, and stronger communication between students, parents, and the university. Because understanding a child’s behavior can be an important step toward protecting them, their peers, and the wider school community.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪: 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧: 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🎊🎪

The first chapter of 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮: 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 officially begins!

The morning’s activities began at the 𝗨𝗦𝗜 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺 with a paraliturgy, setting the tone for a day centered on faith and service. This was followed by the presentation of the USI Central Student Government, officially recognizing the student leaders who will help represent and serve the USI community.

Adding to the occasion was an inspirational message from 𝗦𝗿. 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗔. 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀, 𝗗𝗖, who reminded our student leaders of the responsibility, purpose, and commitment that come with serving their fellow Isabelinos and Isabelinas.

The morning program continued with the oath-taking of officers from the different student organizations, facilitated by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗣. 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗴𝗼, 𝗠𝗔𝗘𝗱, 𝗖𝗦𝗔𝗦𝗦, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗖. 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀, 𝗩𝗣 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗗𝗦𝗟. The formal proceedings concluded with the State of the Student Government Address delivered by 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗿, 𝗨𝗦𝗜 𝗖𝗦𝗚 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿.

With the formalities wrapped up, the atmosphere shifted from ceremony to celebration as participants made their way to the 𝗦𝘁. 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 for the grand opening of the Organizational Fair! 🎪💛

From creative concepts and colorful displays to booths built around their unique identities, our student organizations pulled out all the stops to bring the fair to life. More than just showcasing their organizations, the booths reflected the passion, creativity, and spirit of the Isabelino and Isabelina community.

Here’s a quick look at the educational and interactive exhibition celebrating the rich history and heritage of Filipino music, organized by our 𝗨𝗦𝗜 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺.

From exploring our musical heritage to experiencing it firsthand, our Bachelor of Music students prepared an engaging showcase for the USI community last Saturday at the 𝗨𝗦𝗜 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗢 𝗡𝗜 𝗜𝗡𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 📿🙏🏻

Today, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟰, the whole USI community comes together in celebration of 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼 𝗻𝗶 𝗜𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, carrying this year's theme “𝗜𝗻𝗮: 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵.”

This morning, members of the 𝗨𝗦𝗜 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 and students gathered at the 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗹 in preparation for the arrival and procession of Ina. From Gate 1, the procession makes its way through the USI campus, passing through the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Building, St. Cecilia Square, Ferrini Student Pavilion, and Paranymphus, before making its way to the USI Frassati Gymnasium, where the Holy Mass was celebrated.

Along the route, students from different departments gathered at certain parts of the university to welcome Ina and take part in this meaningful celebration of faith and devotion. In addition, our Grade 12 students also presented a beautiful dance performance as a joyful tribute to Ina’s arrival on campus.

More than a tradition, Pagsungko ni Ina is a celebration of faith that brings the USI community together in prayer, fellowship, and devotion—continuing a cherished expression of our Vincentian identity and our deep Marian devotion.
