In view of the upcoming semestral examination weeks, the BISCAST Supreme Student Council (SSC) announces a permanent schedule adjustment for our office hours during every scheduled examination week moving forward. This ensures continuous student services while fully accommodating your exam preparation.

During every examination week, the council office will be open during the following daily schedules (Monday through Thursday):

• 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• 12:00 NN – 1:00 PM
• 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

The SSC remains steadfast in providing dedicated assistance to the student body throughout this period. We wish all ASTeans full focus, determination, and success—may we all ace our exams!

I-share at ipasa mo ang post na ‘to sa 10 mong kaklase o GC bago matapos ang araw kung ayaw mong ikaw ang lutuin ngayong Midterms! Ramdam na ramdam namin ang kaba ng lahat ngayong 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟲 𝘁𝗼 𝟯𝟭. Kaya bago tayo tuluyang ma-drain sa review, i-claim na natin ang blessing ng ating lucky four-leaf clover para iwas bagsak at tuloy-tuloy ang pasadong exams!

Kidding aside, facing these exams can get overwhelming real quick, but do not forget to pace yourselves, rest when needed, and trust all the hard work you have put in so far. Hindi ka lulutuin ng midterms na 'yan, ikaw ang gigisa diyan. Laban lang, fellow ASTeans!

The Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST) held a victory celebration on October 20 to honor its student-athletes, coaches, and performing groups following successful runs in recent regional competitions. Headed by the Student Development Services (SDS) alongside the BISCAST Supreme Student Council (SSC), the event highlighted the institution's growing athletic and artistic achievements.

The event recognized the delegations that represented the institution at the Bicol Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (RSCUAA) meet, where BISCAST officially accepted hosting responsibilities for the upcoming regional games.

Also highlighted during the festivities were the achievements of the BISCAST Marching Band, Majorettes, and Color Guards at the Kasanggayahan Festival Regional Marching Band and Majorette Competition, alongside the BISCAST Chamber Singers, who earned multiple awards at the 1st Kasanggayahan Tingog Sorsoganon Choral Competition and secured a finalist spot for the National Grand Prix.

College administration officials, sports coordinators, and cultural directors joined the gathering to commend the discipline, teamwork, and artistic excellence demonstrated by the students throughout their respective events.

Congratulations once again to all ASTean athletes, performers, coaches, and organizers for bringing honor to the BISCAST community!

𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗔𝗔 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗮 𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟮,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁! 💪🏻⚔️

While everyone was taking in the excitement from Goa, Camarines Sur during the October 12 opening of the Bicol Regional SCUAA Meet 2026, the region’s best student-athletes were already setting the tone for an epic week of competition.

BISCAST officially sent off a strong delegation of 160 student-athletes ready to battle across various sports events alongside over 2,500 athletes from different state colleges and universities in the region. Host university Partido State University welcomed the crowd with a grand parade, the ceremonial lighting of the Friendship Urn, and the formal handover of the PASUC Region V presidency to SorSU President Dr. Geraldine De Jesus.

The main spotlight of opening night belonged to the pageant stage. 𝑫𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏 𝑱𝒂𝒚 𝑴. 𝑩𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒚 represented BISCAST with total confidence, taking home the 1st Runner-Up title and bagging the Best in Sports Attire award in the Mr. SCUAA 2026 search. Meanwhile, 𝑨𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒍 𝒁𝒚𝒓𝒂𝒉 𝑶. 𝑩𝒖𝒏𝒚𝒂𝒅 delivered an outstanding performance in Ms. SCUAA 2026, showing off true Spartan poise and charm throughout the night.

Whether you were watching live from the venue or following the stream back at campus, the Spartan pride was loud and clear. Salute to our candidates, coaches, and student-athletes for representing the ASTeans so well on day one. Game on for the rest of the week!

Months of tireless practice and focused sweat have all built up to this week. Every drill, every strategy session, and every late-night training session has prepared our ASTeans Athletes for the big stage. You have proven your dedication; now it's time to translate that effort onto the court, field, and mat.

The entire student body of the BISCAST community stands firmly behind you, ready to cheer for every point and celebrate every victory, big or small. Remember, you carry the spirit of a college built on excellence and determination. Good luck, and make us all proud. Play hard, and play fair!

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦’ 𝗗𝗔𝗬! | 𝗧𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱.

Before any of us ever set foot in a real classroom, our very first school was right at home. We learned our first words, took our first steps, and figured out right from wrong by watching our parents. They were our first teachers, laying down the quiet groundwork for who we’d become.

But then we grew up, stepped out the door, and were handed off to a new set of hands—our 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀.

To teach has always been a calling of deep love and sacrifice, but today, that calling demands extraordinary courage. In an era where classrooms are no longer guaranteed sanctuaries, and where uncertainty and outside tensions often creep through school doors, our educators step into their rooms every single morning with grace. They show up even when the weight is heavy, choosing patience over fear, and understanding over despair. They choose to be a safe harbor for minds that are still trying to find their way.

That’s what makes this job so special. Despite all the noise, stress, and heavy days, our teachers keep showing up with patience, heart, and a belief in us—even on the days we don't believe in ourselves.

To all our teachers: thank you for holding down the fort, for being our steady anchor, and for pouring so much of yourselves into our future. We see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you today!
