My experience as an OJT trainee at Summit Galleria Cebu was full of learning, challenges, and unforgettable memories. Being part of the housekeeping department helped me discover how important hard work, teamwork, and dedication are in giving guests a comfortable and satisfying stay. Every day gave me a chance to improve my confidence, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure while handling different tasks inside the hotel. There were tiring moments, especially during busy operations, but those experiences helped me become more patient, responsible, and motivated. I also appreciated the people around me who guided and supported me throughout my training, making the workplace feel welcoming and enjoyable. My OJT experience became a journey of growth where I gained valuable lessons, real experiences, and memories that I will always carry with me in the future.

I experienced what itโ€™s really like to work in an office, and it helped me grow a lot. I handled documents, did some encoding, and made sure everything was organized sometimes kapoy, pero fulfilling pagtapos ang tasks. I also communicated with different departments, which helped me become more confident in talking to people, kahit nahihiya sa una, nasanay din ako. I learned how to manage my time and stay focused, especially when there were many things to do at the same time. Nakita ko rin kung gaano ka importante ang pagiging professional, patient, at maingat sa trabaho. There were challenges, but I realized na I can do it naman pala. In the end, I can say na my experience was not just about learning tasks, but also about discovering my strengths and becoming more responsible.

Reflecting on my journey at Mt. Olympus Resort, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and privilege for the opportunity to have experienced such a transformative chapter in my life. The atmosphere here is defined by an incredible warmth; being surrounded by people who are so welcoming and kind has truly fostered an environment where I felt empowered to strive for betterment every single day. One of the most beautiful aspects of this experience was the genuine friendships we built, which allowed us to connect deeply despite our diverse cultures. Even on exhausting days filled with endless guest demands and complex requests, I never felt overwhelmed because I knew my supervisors were always there to support me. Their constant support and willingness to guide me through high-pressure situations provided the perfect space for me to learn, grow, and ultimately establish my footing as a hospitality service provider.
