✨ 𝙐𝙎𝙏𝙋 𝙊𝙧𝙤𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙖 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙧 𝙅𝙤𝙗 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙧 2025: 𝘼 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨! ✨

In celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), USTP Oroquieta, spearheaded by the HRMO and the Career Services Unit, successfully conducted the Job Fair and One-Stop Shop Service on September 18, 2025 at the USTP Covered Court.

The event formally opened with an invocation, national anthem, and USTP Hymn, followed by inspiring messages from USTP officials, PESO, and PSA. The program was officially declared open by DOLE Provincial Director 𝙈𝙨. 𝙀𝙗𝙗𝙖 𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙗𝙤𝙣-𝘼𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙖, signaling the start of the day’s activities.

Partner employers 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙂𝙪𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙤 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙄𝙣𝙘, 𝙍𝙚𝙮𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙙𝙤 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚, and 𝘾𝙚𝙗𝙪 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙄𝙣𝙘 actively participated, offering employment opportunities to jobseekers. A One-Stop Shop Service was also provided, with frontline services from 𝘿𝙄𝘾𝙏, 𝙎𝙎𝙎, 𝙋𝙖𝙜-𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙜, 𝙉𝘽𝙄, 𝙋𝙎𝘼, and 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙠 made accessible to the public.

One of the highlights of the day was the 𝙃𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙-𝙤𝙣-𝙩𝙝𝙚-𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙩 (𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙎) applicant for 𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚, proving the immediate impact of the Job Fair in connecting jobseekers to meaningful employment.

With a well-structured program flow and strong support from partner agencies, the event successfully catered to more than 200 attendees, showcasing USTP Oroquieta’s commitment to empowering graduates, alumni, and the community in building brighter futures.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain our cable head-end and internet NOC system to ensure quality service.

Receive job orders and respond promptly to resolve requests, complaints, and office orders.

Escalate technical issues to the department head as necessary.

Submit reports and analyses to management.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Graduate of BS ECE, IT, or other IT-related courses.

Work experience in the internet industry is preferred, but not required.

Proficient in computer skills.

Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.

Willingness to work in shifts and be on-call during emergencies.

Eagerness to learn and undergo training.

On June 9, 2025, the Career Services Unit, together with the Department of Information Technology (IT) and Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE), successfully conducted the Labor Education for Graduating Students (LEGS) at the USTP Covered Court, USTP Campus.

This event aimed to equip our soon-to-be graduates with essential knowledge on labor rights, workplace ethics, and professional readiness—empowering them to enter the workforce with confidence and integrity.
