The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Aloran, Misamis Occidental, along with the assistance of the Social Work Aloran Interns, successfully concluded the Capacity Development Training for all Barangay Child Representatives: Presidents and Vice Presidents, held at the Functional Hall of the Municipality, this August 15, 2025.

The initiative equipped the children with knowledge about Republic Act 9344 (Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act) and RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act) as well as health topics on areas like Drugs, Alcohol & Ci******es providing them with protection and awareness against societal inequities.

This has been a great experience, and it wouldn't have been possible without the guidance and supervision of Sir Jay M. Tumapon, the Social Welfare Officer I & focal person in this area. We also extend our warmest regards to Municipal Mayor Guardson D. Mutia, Sir Jenuine D. Centino, our Agency Field Supervisor, the distinguished guest speakers, and to the children who were present - the very reason why the activity was conducted.

After all the struggles, tears, and exhaustion, they finally made it. These graduates stood strong through sleepless nights, exhausting fieldwork, and countless moments of doubt.
