The Alpha to Golf teams of the College of Criminal Justice Education interns have officially completed their first week of deployment in their respective assigned agencies. Stepping into new environments, meeting supervisors, and adjusting to real-world responsibilities marked the beginning of a challenging yet meaningful experience for each team. It was a week filled with first impressions, learning moments, and opportunities to apply the knowledge gained inside the classroom.
From observing actual operations to assisting in daily tasks, the interns began understanding the realities of service, discipline, and professionalism in the field. Each agency assignment brought unique experiences that helped them grow not only as students but as future criminal justice practitioners. Their first week may have been full of adjustments, but it also strengthened their confidence and sense of purpose.
As Alpha to Golf teams continue their journey, this first week stands as a reminder that every small step in the field contributes to their development. It is only the beginning, yet it already reflects their commitment to learn, serve, and uphold the values of the profession they are preparing to enter.
