The Alpha to Golf teams of the College of Criminal Justice Education interns have officially completed their first week of deployment in their respective assigned agencies. Stepping into new environments, meeting supervisors, and adjusting to real-world responsibilities marked the beginning of a challenging yet meaningful experience for each team. It was a week filled with first impressions, learning moments, and opportunities to apply the knowledge gained inside the classroom.

From observing actual operations to assisting in daily tasks, the interns began understanding the realities of service, discipline, and professionalism in the field. Each agency assignment brought unique experiences that helped them grow not only as students but as future criminal justice practitioners. Their first week may have been full of adjustments, but it also strengthened their confidence and sense of purpose.

As Alpha to Golf teams continue their journey, this first week stands as a reminder that every small step in the field contributes to their development. It is only the beginning, yet it already reflects their commitment to learn, serve, and uphold the values of the profession they are preparing to enter.

Last January 23 2026, the College of Criminal Justice Education interns came together for their Pre-Deployment Orientation, marking an important step in their journey as future professionals in the field. The activity served as a reminder that deployment is more than just a requirementโ€”it is a responsibility. As they prepare to step outside the classroom and into real-world environments, the interns were given guidance on what to expect and how to carry themselves with confidence and professionalism.

During the orientation, emphasis was placed on discipline, integrity, and accountabilityโ€”values that every criminal justice student must live by, especially while representing the institution in different agencies. The interns were reminded that their actions, decisions, and attitudes will reflect not only on themselves but also on their school and the profession they aspire to join. It was both a moment of preparation and reflection.

More than anything, the Pre-Deployment Orientation strengthened their readiness and commitment to serve with purpose. It was a meaningful experience that brought excitement and a sense of responsibility as they move forward into this new chapter.

The pinning and badging ceremony establishes an important milestone for our intern student journey because it shows that we should serve others before we receive full governmental authority. The Batch MAHAGSIK class of 2025-2026 enters this new stage with better understanding about how to take responsibility and maintain discipline and show accountability.

This badge represents trust which enables us to learn through humility and act with integrity while we honor the values which public service candidates must maintain. Our internship experiences build our character while they create a stronger dedication to our future profession.

The current moment carries great importance even though we remain in our training period. We view every obstacle as a chance to develop ourselves because our mentors support us and our team members keep us grounded while we work together to establish peace and order in our communities.

Today, we stand not just as students, but as individuals being molded for service. With discipline in our actions and integrity in our decisions, we move forward ready to learn, ready to serve, and ready to honor the responsibility entrusted to us.
