May 15, 2026 is a significant milestone in the Maritime Turnover of Command Ceremony, symbolizing the peaceful transition of leadership and the continuation of service at sea. It is a moment rooted in tradition, respect, and professional excellence.

As command is formally transferred, we honor the dedication and hard work of the outgoing leadership whose guidance has strengthened the unit and upheld the highest standards of maritime duty. Their legacy remains a foundation for those who follow.

With the assumption of responsibility by the incoming commander, a renewed commitment is made to uphold discipline, safety, and operational readiness. Leadership at sea demands courage, integrity, and unwavering dedication to mission and crew.

This ceremony reflects unity and continuity within the maritime service, ensuring that the spirit of excellence endures. As one chapter closes and another begins, we move forward with purpose, honor, and steadfast resolve.

Cadets who fail to wear their Pershing cap shall be given a demerit.
Students who have already paid for the complete uniform, including the Pershing cap, but have not yet received their items, are advised to present their official receipt.

Cadets who commited 3 consecutive absences are candidates for sanction, FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE!

Unauthorized wearing of shoes will be confiscated‼️

We extend our heart-felt appreciation to the organizers of the Inter-School Social Work Day Celebration here in Pagadian for extending a special invitation to the ICS Maritime students. It was a great honor for our department to be entrusted with the ICS Flag and to serve as the Official Colors for this year's Social Work Day Celebration.

As future seafarers, we value discipline and cooperation the same values we saw reflected in the social work community today. Seeing our flags fly front and center reminds us that no matter our course, we are all part of one crew working toward a better community.

Here are the official mechanics for this year’s most awaited musical showdown! 🔥

🎤 MECHANICS:

1. Open to all amateur bands within the OLT campus.
2. Every member must be a bonafide student of OLT.
3. Bands must have 4 to 7 members.
4. You’ll have 5 minutes to set up your instruments on stage.
5. Perform originals or covers from these genres: Reggae, Slow Rock, classic Rock.

and more to be discussed during the official meeting of the said contest..

Please be informed that whoever will be declared as the Champion must prepare two additional songs.
