🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT: 3RD QUARTER 2026 NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED) 🚨

Attention PCIC Community!

In compliance with Memo Order No. 2026-076 issued by the Office of the City Administrator, Pagadian City International College will actively participate in the upcoming city-wide earthquake and tsunami evacuation exercise.

Preparedness saves lives! We urge all students, faculty, and staff to take this safety drill seriously and familiarize themselves with the event details below:

📅 Date: September 10, 2026 (Thursday)
⏰ Time: 1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.
📍 Assembly Areas: Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) — Left & Right designated sectors
🚶 Evacuation Route: Uphill toward Rizal Avenue upon emergency siren activation

⚠️ IMPORTANT PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES:

Active Engagement: Perform assigned roles (simulating evacuation or emergency response) realistically and responsibly.

Dress Code: Wear comfortable, appropriate everyday clothing.

Safety First: Ensure all props (emergency kits, simulated items) are safe and do not obstruct pathways.

Follow Instructions: Strictly follow the guidance of drill marshals and safety personnel throughout the drill.

A meaningful day of unity, direction, and community as the Pagadian City International College family comes together for the Students’ Orientation and General Assembly, September 4, 2026 at Plaza Luz Covered Court, Pagadian City.

We are honored by the presence of Hon. Mayor Sammy Co, whose support and message of encouragement inspire our students and the entire PCIC community.

With 1,264 students enrolled in free education, PCIC continues to strengthen its commitment to making quality education more accessible to the youth and empowering students to pursue their dreams.

The program features the introduction of our dedicated faculty and staff, student activities and academic calendar, policies and guidelines, SSC information, awarding of certificates, recognition of the Dean’s List, the launching of PCIC Today, and the presentation of the SSC Officers for 2025–2026.

Most importantly, this successful gathering reflects the full cooperation and commitment of our faculty and staff, working together to provide our students with a meaningful, organized, and inspiring start to the academic year.

Sa gitna ng pagtitipon, isang maikling sigaw ang umalingawngaw sa Plaza Luz Covered Court “Mabuhay ang PCIC!” Ito ang naging mensahe ni Mayor Sammy Co sa Student’s Orientation and General Assembly ng Pagadian City International College (PCIC) noong Biyernes, Setyembre 4, 2026.

Dumalo sa programa ang mga mag-aaral, g**o, at kawani ng paaralan bilang bahagi ng paghahanda sa panibagong taon ng pag-aaral. Para sa mga bagong estudyante, naging unang hakbang ang pagtitipon upang makilala ang kanilang mga magiging g**o at makasama ang komunidad na kanilang magiging tahanan sa pagaaral. Para naman sa mga returning students, nagsilbi itong pagkakataon upang muling makaugnayan ang kanilang mga g**o at kapwa mag-aaral.

Tampok din sa programa ang pagpapakilala sa mga instructor mula sa iba’t ibang kurso. Higit sa pagkilala sa kanilang mga pangalan, ipinakita rin nito ang mga taong magiging gabay ng mgamag-aaral sa kanilang pagharap sa mga aralin, gawain, at hamon ng kanilang napiling propesyon. Kasabay nito, ibinahagi sa mga mag-aaral ang mahahalagang impormasyon at paalala upang maging mas handa sila sa kanilang mga responsibilidad bilang bahagi ng PCIC community.

Sa pagdalo ni Mayor Sammy Co, naging kapansin-pansin ang kanyang maikli ngunit makahulugang panawagan “Mabuhay ang PCIC!” Isang simpleng pahayag na nagbigay-diin sa pagkakaisa at sigla ng komunidad sa pagsisimula ng panibagong akademikong taon. Sa pagtatapos ng programa, umuwi ang mga mag-aaral na hindi lamang may bagong kaalaman, kundi may mas malinaw na ideya sa mga taong makakasama nila sa kanilang paglalakbay.

Sapagkat ang bagong school year ay hindi lamang simula ng panibagong mga asignatura. Ito rin ay simula ng mga bagong hamon, karanasan, pagkakaibigan, at pangarap.

At sa unang hakbang na ito, iisa ang sigaw:

“Mabuhay ang PCIC!”
