Sometimes the spotlight appears in unexpected places. This time, it shone on several of our Marine Biology students, not inside laboratories or along the shoreline during fieldwork, but on stage during the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Region XI โ Regional Culture and the Arts Festival (RCAF) 2026, held March 5โ8, 2026 at Davao del Norte State College.
With confidence, creativity, and genuine passion, these students stepped forward and delivered performances that truly made an impactโearning gold in their respective events and qualifying to represent DNSC at the National Culture and the Arts Festival (NCAF) 2026.

Itโs inspiring to see students who dedicate their studies to marine ecosystems also express themselves through the performing arts and achieve such remarkable recognition. Their discipline, dedication, and courage to perform are truly worth celebrating.
Thank you for bringing pride to the Marine Biology community and to Davao del Norte State College. The effort behind every rehearsal and every performance did not go unnoticed.
