NAAP ANNOUNCES GUIDELINES FOR CLASSES, EXAMINATIONS, AND ACADEMIC WORK ARRANGEMENTS

In accordance with recent announcements from Local Government Units (LGU) regarding the cancellation of face-to-face classes and adoption of alternative learning modalities, the National Aviation Academy of the Philippines (NAAP) has issued OVPAA Memorandum No. 04, 2026, providing guidelines for the conduct of classes, examinations, and academic work arrangements from August 15 to 20, 2026.
What you need to know:

• Regular classes from August 15 to 20, 2026 shall be conducted through online modality, except for examinations and graduate thesis defenses specifically identified in the memorandum.
• Class session under the Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Fernando Air Base Campus shall be conducted online from August 17 to 20, 2026.
• For the Institute of Computer Studies, Institute of Engineering and Technology, and Basa Air Base Campus, major examinations affected by previous LGU issuances shall be conducted on-site on August 17 to 18, while other classes will use online asynchronous modality.
• Scheduled graduate thesis defenses shall proceed on-site accordingly, contingent on the approved schedule and coordination.
• NSTP classes at Villamor Campus on August 15 shall be conducted on-site. Other campuses will determine the appropriate modality based on local conditions and coordination.
• Students are reminded to follow the appointed class and examination schedules and to continue monitoring official announcements from instructors, Institutes, Programs, and the Academy.

Please regularly monitor official NAAP announcements and stay updated on any subsequent government or LGU issuances that may affect these arrangements.

NAAP SHIFTS TO ASYNCHRONOUS / MODULAR CLASSES

In line with the 09 August 2026 announcement of the Pasay City Local Government Unit regarding the implementation of alternative learning modalities, the National Aviation Academy of the Philippines (NAAP) has issued OVPAA Advisory No. 09, s. 2026 concerning the temporary shift to asynchronous/modular classes.

📚 What you need to know:

• Examinations scheduled on August 10, 2026 shall be rescheduled accordingly.
• Preliminary examinations for affected students will be administered on August 11–12, 2026 (Tuesday–Wednesday).
• Faculty members will provide advanced asynchronous learning materials covering the midterm topics.
• No asynchronous assessments, whether formative or summative, shall be administered during this period.
• Students are advised to monitor official announcements from their respective campuses and faculty members for further instructions.

Please take this time to continue reviewing and learning at your own pace while prioritizing your safety and well-being. ✈️📖
