From PD 1078 (1977) to RA 7605 (1992), President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. signed on 5 September 2025 Republic Act 12255 (2025) declaring the Philippine State College of Aeronautics as the NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTION FOR AVIATION, renaming it as the National Aviation Academy of the Philippines (NAAP)!
