From Passi City to the national stage.

Dr. Janice Jennifer P. Palmares, our College Administrator and President, has been elected Auditor and Regional Representative of the Association of Local Colleges and Universities (ALCU) Philippines for the 2026–2028 term. She will carry the voice of Region VI (Western Visayas) into one of the biggest networks in local higher education.

Think about that for a second. More than 172 local colleges and universities across the country, and PCC is now part of the group steering the conversation. A school that started in 2005 is now helping shape where local education goes next.

And she isn’t the only one from our side of the map. Dr. Larnie Sam Tabuena, President of La Carlota City College, was elected to the Board of Directors and as Regional Representative. Their wins show what friendship and teamwork among colleges in Regions VI and XVIII (ALCOR VI & XVIII) can build.

It tells us that the school we study in is growing louder, bolder, and more respected every year. When our leader stands tall, the whole PCC community stands taller with her.

Congratulations, Dr. Palmares! Thank you for leading with heart and for putting PCC on the national map. We are so proud of you! 💛✨
