The Department of Islamic Studies, College of Arts and Sciences, Mindanao State University–Sulu, in collaboration with the King Faisal Center for Islamic, Arabic, and Asian Studies (KFCIAAS), MSU–Main Campus, successfully conducted the Two-Day Seminar on “Fundamentals of Islamic Banking and Finance: Principles, Practice, and Prospects.”
The seminar brought together faculty members, university officials, and students in an engaging academic discussion on the foundations, principles, practices, and emerging opportunities in Islamic Banking and Finance. Participants gained valuable insights into Shari'ah-compliant financial systems, Islamic banking operations, Takaful, Islamic wealth planning, and the prospects of Islamic finance in the Philippines.
