Day 1 Highlights | 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗠
The 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗠, spearheaded by the 𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐮𝐦 (𝐂𝐕𝐇𝐑𝐃𝐂)) and centered on the theme “𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡” officially opened on December 15, 2025, at the NGN Gran Hotel, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, bringing together health professionals, researchers, faculty members, and students.
The opening program began with the Welcome Remarks by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐓. 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐢, followed by messages from 𝐃𝐫. 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐆. 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐚, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐧, and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐂. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐲𝐚. Collectively, the speakers emphasized 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲-𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 in advancing health research.
The keynote speakers were formally introduced by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐨 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐮𝐥 and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥, setting the stage for an insightful plenary session. The session featured keynote speakers 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐥 and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐨𝐱𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐂. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐳, who discussed the integration of artificial intelligence, health, and contemporary approaches in current research landscapes.
In the afternoon, the forum continued with simultaneous parallel sessions, including Oral Research Paper Presentations and Digital Poster Presentations for both professional and student categories. Faculty members 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐳 and 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐭𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐨 from the College of Pharmacy participated in the Digital Poster Presentation (Professional Category), while five pharmacy students attended the forum to observe, learn, and gain exposure to ongoing health research discussions.
Day 1 was filled with opportunities for learning, collaboration, and meaningful exchange of ideas, giving both professionals and students valuable insights into the latest trends in health research. In line with 𝐒𝐃𝐆 3 (𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠), the forum promotes research that can positively impact community health. By fostering knowledge and capacity-building for students and professionals, it also contributes to 𝐒𝐃𝐆 4 (𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧). At the same time, the forum encourages innovation and the application of new technologies, supporting 𝐒𝐃𝐆 9 (𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞) and empowering participants to engage in evidence-based, cutting-edge research.
